I took this class with Ms. Hunter about 7 years ago and I just came across some of my reading responses. I can't believe how hateful and bigoted I used to be. I really want to thank her for allowing me to explore my voice and share my opinions in an open environment, even though I was a total jerk at the time. Great teacher, lasting lessons!

Dianna does a wonderful job teaching her class. Many people have a hard time stomaching what she teaches, it's not easy to see how society is (and comments here reflect this) but she presents it in a good way without forcing the material down her student's throats as some do. Couldn't find a better professor.

Dianna is a unique teacher. The material is definitely refreshing and something you will not learn about in any other class. Come with an open mind and you'll do fine. I think she could improve on her raport with the large wst 101 class. I had her for a smaller sized class and she did much better.

A broader diversity of opinions needs to be respected. If Women's Studies is ever going to truly accomplish its mission, men need to buy in. Know your audience. Please don't alientate them. Your work is too important.

If you want to take her class to say bad things about lesbians and call women names, she will probably not like you because IT'S A WOMEN'S STUDIES CLASS, MORON! If you participate in class, she will give you an A. If you hate women and think those who disagree with you have PMS, you won't do well.

I've only had one of her classes, but I think Dianna is a good teacher - although I have heard other opinions that if you don't have the same opinion you're marked down. BUT take the class and find out, it's an interesting class. You'll like it.
