I am and have always been terrible at math. Dr. Robbins made stat the easiest and most understandable class I have ever taken. He moves quickly but if you don't understand something he will stop the class to go over it until you understand it. He goes over the test and quizzes an hour before you take them so go to the review sessions!!

Don Robbins is the best professor I have ever had the pleasure of having. If I didn't understand a concept he would go over it with me until it was clear. He WANTS you to come to his office hours, he wants to help each and every student. I can't say enough wonderful things about this man. He made me think about getting a minor in stats. TAKE HIM.

Robbins is a great professor. Math isn't really my thing, but he made stats a lot easier for me. He can be kind of judgemental of others, but he's always willing to help out. He's a stickler for attendance! He also gives extra credit if you participate in class! Don't bother buying the actual textbook, just get the MyStatLab code

Professor Robbins is a great teacher. He really knows how to teach a difficult topic, statistics, with such detail and clarification that anyone could pass the class. He tells you what type of problems are going to be on the test, and he gives extra points during class for participation. Take him; he is nice, funny, and a great teacher.

This Professor is awesome, he make sure you understand the materials before test day. Also, every time during the tests whenever I was unsure about something I go up to him and ask, and he just explain everything to me! Also, must do homework online and participate in class so you can get bonus points for the test. Take him!

I have him for Essentials of Mathematics and he is an AMAZING professor. He is available to all students for help anytime and comes to class an hour early for those that need help. I am an English major and am NOT a math person but he makes it so easy to understand. He has reviews in class before each test, too!

Very nice and helpful. He runs through the power points and such very quickly so it's hard to keep up. I had it at 9 in the morning and missed to many classes and had to drop it but I would love to take his class again for Essentials the next time.

I had Robbins for Statistics, and he is an extremely helpful teacher. He teaches everything really clearly but without going at too slow a pace. He holds reviews before the test and tells you everything that's gonna be on it and goes over how to do it all. Math is usually really confusing for me, but he made it totally clear. Robbins is an incredible professor. I had him for Essentials and never dreaded going to his class. He's so sweet and will help you with anything at any time. He gives you extra credit on tests just for doing homework problems even if they're wrong. There's four tests during the semester, no midterm, and you don't need to buy the textbook. I couldn't say better things about Robbins he's truly an awesome teacher and person.

Awesome professor! made statistics way easier! i got a B and i'm terrible at math. He gives test reviews at 7am right before the test and tells you exactly whats on it. Homework is optional, but he might give points on next test. Answer questions in class. go to his office houes for help! he wants everyone to do well. TAKE HIS CLASSES!

Super helpful teacher. If you don't understand something, don't hesitate to raise your hand and ask for help. You won't look dumb. Make sure you have a graphing calculator, there's one really useful function for later on in the course. Don't spend hundreds though, a baseline one should be absolutely fine.
