Dr. Carpenter is my favorite nursing professor at scranton. She makes the class a lot of fun where you mainly sit around and talk. She is also an easy grader. She treats us like friends which I appreciated very much. I would definitely recommend her.

dr. carpenter is super friendly and has some great stories and advice to share with her students . however, she does not really explain some assignments and didnt lecture about any of the chapters the entire semester . her tests were hard, but the curve was huge so it made up for it

Comment:

Carpenter for research is absolutely the way to go. Class was supposed to meet once a week from 5-7:40, but she never kept us past 6:30. At first it seems like a lot of work, but she makes it really manageable. Easy grader for 2 research critiques, which are worth 25% each. No final, two quizzes, and a group project that took about 45 minutes to do

This class was so easy and Dr. Carpenter is a caring and devoted professor who wants her students to be great nurses. That being said this class was frustrating at times, due dates were always changing and I never knew what was going to be on the tests because we did nothing but talk in class. Overall I recommend taking.

Comment:

Favorite professor at the U so far. She is extremely caring and compassionate. She really wants the students to learn and become amazing nurses. If you ever need help at all she is there and very helpful. Her tests can be difficult so you need to keep up on the readings. She is an easy grader tho.

So far my favorite professor at the U. She is kind and caring and would do anything for her students. Lots of papers and assignments but as long as you stay on top of it it isn't too bad. Tests can be rough but she will help students out. Overall a wonderful person and professor.

Dr. Carpenter is amazing. She's such a sweet woman and she genuinely cares about her students. She is the nursing dpt chair, so very passionate about the profession. We don't do much in class, you kind of just show up and talk. She's very understanding and flexible with deadlines. Easy grader and outlines the exams for you.
