Attendance not required, but he gives pop quizzes if not enough people show up. Incredibly easy class to get a B in if you put a mild effort in and do good on just ONE of the 4 exams. Homework is all online and easy. He has an a pretty bad accent and expects you to work too hard, but not that bad of a class overall

Come on, Dong wasn't THAT bad. This class does require a lot of study time, but if you actually study and read the book, you'll be fine. And his lectures aren't THAT bad fellas, come on!

A terrible teacher, but his class is really easy. I seldom went to lecture because they were mostly useless,as a lot of what I knew in this class came from my high school chemistry classes. He's really good about responding to e-mails quickly.

The lectures really were pointless, but sometimes he did random pop quizzes to see who was at the lecture. He's bad at teaching, so look through the chapters on your own. For tests, DO NOT just study his practice exams. They are difficult! Go through the study guide as well, and you'll get a good grade.

Overall great professor. At first he is hard to understand, but after a while you get used to it. He is the most helpful professor I have ever met. He responds to emails extremely fast. He is also very helpful, if you ask questions. Many complained about him, but I liked the class.

He was not very good at actually TEACHING us the concepts. However, he did provide good overviews, and then I would go learn it on my own. If you put in a couple hrs to do hw like once a week, then this class is a cinch. And he is adorable; his accent is so cute! I think he's one of those really smart people who just can't explain what he knows.

Although his accent is hard to decipher, his tests are fairly easy if you actually study what he gives on the study guides. Throws a curveball once in awhile. If you email him a question, he'll answer you within around 3 hours, 24 hours a day, no joke. Overall, a Great teacher :D

So bashichally...This guy is impossible to understand. He reads right off of his slides and does not interact during lectures at all. If you want a decent grade for chemistry, you need to find someone else.

I really wouldn't even call Dong Seo a Professor. He is impossible to understand, of little help and his lectures do not make sense. Make sure to do well in the lab and get easy points. Its the only way to ensure you'll get a decent grade.

The lectures are a waste of time. He reads right from his powerpoint. I can read your powerpoint too! Easy if you are disciplined and read the book and lecture slides. Attendance isn't mandatory in lecture but is in lab and recitation.

Bayshically, don't take this guy. He's a geero, and his pronunciation is hilarious. He shows no enerzy, and he always has to get guysh to shut up. The lectures are a largey waste of uh the the the the THE the time, but the class is easy....bayshically (This was written in his voice)

The lectures were quite boring, could have all easily been skipped. I relied on my past chemistry classes to get me through the class. Recitation and lab made my grade better. Tests were fine, as long as I throughly went over the practice tests that were posted online.

Professor Seo is a very helpful and understanding professor. If you show that you are willing to learn and you try, then you will do well in his class. While somewhat hard to understand sometimes, his accent isn't as bad as some other professors.

Pretty easy class for me. Tests were fair and pretty simple. Attendance in not mandatory, because you can't understand him. Just review the chapters and old exams.
