Very good teacher. She is nice and super sweet. She loves what she teaches but I must admit she gives a lot of work. I took her online and the work load was very heavy. You have to work for your grade. Not a friendly class for working adults. you have to put at least 20 hours a week into this class just for online.

This is the second time I have taken Prof. Acerra! She is an amazing teacher! You will learn a lot in the class. There is a lot of work, but it i fun assignments. Definitely take any classes you can with her.

One word: Amazing. Honestly, Donna is one of the most caring professors I have ever met. She really is passionate about what she teaches. The course itself is completely manageable. You are guaranteed to pass if you do the work. She offers extra credit too! What more could you ask for? Take her!

Do not take any of her classes if you are not intended to be an audio/radio major. I'm not a student of that major and still was able to pass the class, but it was tough because everyone else knew how to use the audio room and had backround knowledge of the topic.

Hands down this was my favorite class I have taken at NCC. Donna is the best professor I have had. She genuinely cares about her students & is extremely helpful. This class was very easy to follow & interesting. We have 10 short homework assignments, 1 major paper (it's long but easy), & 1 group project. highly recommend taking this class w Donna

Donna really means well. She can be very sweet but also very condescending at times. She's funny and personable but has a dry teaching style. I had her for history of broadcasting, a class I was interested in, but she kinda took down a notch what I expected. Great woman, little lacking as a teacher.
