If you miss more than 3 of his classes you will not pass. He is an incredible professor, I enjoyed going to his lectures. He has little to no info on his PowerPoint slides so you really have to listen to what he says. He does put his notes on Google classroom through. He is not too strict just don't talk in class. He is also dorky at times.

Wonderful professor. Perfect posterior. Enchanting eyes. Overall he provides wonderful conversation, dorky jokes, and is very easy to talk with. He is there to help and very understanding. The class can be tough but completely worth it.

Everything is out of the textbook, he skims the hi-lights from the tb. No review sheets or sessions. Class is very boring, lot of videos. I gotten an A in 111 but I'm looking at a C for this class. I wish I'd taken a different professor.

I took his 111 and yes it was difficult, but it doesn't matter what professor it is, its just a hard class. I've taken tons of upper levels with him and it is great, not very demanding and a lot of hands on projects that are fun

He's super nice and helpful. The material is straight forward. Reading the book helps but I wouldn't say that it is necessary he goes over everything in class. As long as you do the work it is an easy B+ even A. If I would have put more effort in it would have been an easy A. He clearly cares about the material and the success of his students

The class is easy. You have a few quizzes here and there but the class grade is mostly just dependent on how you do on the tests. The tests are not easy and they are cumulative. I wasn't too fond of the class but the professor is a nice guy.

Class notes are helpful and he teaches well. Readings are assigned from it each week. Love his texting policy-- if someone is caught there is a pass/fail essay quiz. Texting in class is so rude. A lot of the negative reviews are people who don't realize this isn't high school any more and they actual have to read a text book (God forbid)

Great professor, always kept things interesting. Quizzes and Tests were very straight forward and fair. Pay attention in class and you'll do fine, just DON'T TEXT. Pass/Fail quiz given to whole class if caught

Great professor. DON'T TEXT! Pass/fail quiz on the spot if caught. Happened 2nd day of class for me because some guy in the back. Very fair quizzes and tests because he tells you what you should be reading in the book. He's also pretty funny but intimidating.

Prestigious and intimidating. Thoroughly enjoyed anthropology before taking 310/410- mostly because they sadly taught me very little. Anthro at a different school recommended.

He does expect a lot out of his students that is true. However, he is always willing to meet with students to help And guide them along the way. As long as you take notes and try your hardest it's not hard to succeed at all. He's one of the greatest professors I have ever had.

Surprised that there are no reviews for his 310/410 classes. At one point,I viewed him as strict for your own good kind of thing. In his upper level class, he still holds his prestigious attitude, talks up his the assignments like they're life altering, but were a complete waste of my time. Easy, and pointless.Man ruined anthropology for me.

Not a bad teacher, but does expect a lot out of someone who is new to college. He gives 3 tests and only about 6 quizzes that are fair, but still very challenging. Overall a good class just hard to understand exactly what he wants you to know for the quizzes and tests.

Honestly great teacher, as long as you read you'll get a 100, its like one chapter a week and they aren't long at all. He's really nice and if you meet with him he is really helpful! After taking this class I changed my major to Anthro he just made it so interesting, also LOTS of movies (no notes or quizzes on them either!!!) grades are 3 tests!

omg! where do i get started on this guy! horrible teacher..teachers the class like it is a 300 level course. gives quizzes and the final only. if your not a good test taker don't even look his way. doesn't care if you go to his office hours either. if you don't read his book you will not pass his class. and he makes you read the WHOLE book.

Make sure to read the book and somehow try and pull out important parts. I'm a 3.5 and higher student and I thought I was going to fail this class. Tests were ridiculous for a gen ed, I'm not saying make the class easy or anything but he expects too much out of students who are most likely freshmen. Set up a meeting and he was late for it or forgot
