The guy was funny as hell and kept the class intersting. I took the class just becuase I had to but I would take it again if he was the teacher. Also he showed me how to look at stories in different ways. Columbia took him away. Will miss him.

Prof. Vega explained many things and cared alot of students. Extra credit is essential. Only grades were 2 papers of simple questions. Highly recommend him Although he is studying now at columbia university of jurnalism. Had alot of fun. Certainly came out with more knowledge than when i went in. Perhaps a little more cynical as well. Great job....

Prof Vega was a great teacher. As ong as you do the assignments and participate in class, you'll do fine. No tests! He's very laid back. He always made time for any questions and or advice I needed. I loved this class!

Awesome Guy! Highly recommended. Knows his stuff very well. Extra credit is very important and also make sure you read his assignments, otherwise he'll ask you stuff in front of everybody. Very straight forward.

Be prepared to learn. Prof. Vega knows all there is to know. Be prepared to back up any statements you make. Giving presentations in his class is like being impaled on a spit over an open flame. As he slowly turns the handle, your juices drip, hissing and popping onto the white hot embers until you finally understand the lesson. Great class!

If you want to have fun and laugh and in the sametime..learn from the subject..this is it! This professor is very outgoing and he keeps the class interesting with his lecturing and his good sense of humor. The only flaw: he really takes seriously the student attendence, if you absence one day, you lose 5 points..if three days, you fail the class.

I have to say...this teacher is horrible. I thought he was cool at first..but then realized all he does is make people look stupid. He get's off on seeing students struggle with answers. He is also the type that thinks he knows EVERYTHING! TO him, everything he says is right and anything everyone else says is wrong. Would NOT recommend him!!!!

PICK HIM if you want an easy A. Description of class: GR 6000 words, about 10 (2pg) papers, No Tests, and a few oral presentations and class debates. Easy grader. Also, he will come off as a jerk in the beginning, but he's really not. Makes class fun with his jokes. If you show up to class and write the papers, you will get an A.
