Comment:

Prof Quinn was hard and made sure we all read from the book. Her classes are discussion based, student run, and finding the right answer to her question can be a challenge. She scared us on the first day, but over the course of the class she loosened up. Good teacher - I learned a lot.

Comment:

Although her class can be very dry, she is very well informed and willing to help anybody else. She's a little batty, but it adds to her amazing person, and she's absolutely great and helpful when you talk to her outside of class, even if it doesn't concern her class. She acts tough, but is a big softie at heart. Note her Facebook fan page.

I LOVE her, she is such a great professor. If you just talk to her, hand in your work on time, and dont give her BS, you are golden. And if you give intelligent remarks in class she loves you forever.

I learned a lot from her, but she became a huge pain in the butt during thesis. She holds her thesis students hands thru the entire process and favored them which was very frustrating. As a female, i think she was harder on me but i think she had good intentions. She knows her stuff, very passionate about history and really gets you into it as well. I think shes a good professor but there were times where i absolutely hated her.

102 was fairly easy, paper at the end was tough and questionable at that level, 60's was awesome; very challenging, informing and thought provoking. Highly reccommend it.

class is pointless teaches you nothing you havent already learned in high school. Her history alive paper is a real pain in the butt.
