Pretty great professor. Very opinionated but if you disagree with her she'll take the time to listen to your side of the arguement. Pretty random in class but she tries to give real life examples to make things easier to understand. Loved her and I hope to have her again in the future

Comment:

Astor-Stetson is an awesome teacher. Her lectures are very helpful, but in order to do well on her tests (there are 5 and a final) you need to read the book. She gives extra credit which is helpful. Attendance is not mandatory but I suggest you go to every class. There's a lot of note taking. Interesting class, too.

Astor-Stetson is pretty funny. Good stories. Material is interesting. Tests are kind-of tricky but she gives extra credit opportunities. Just go to most classes and READ and you'll pull off a B at least.

General Psychology was a lot of information for a one semester course. She makes it fun and keeps you interested. You need to workbook in order to do assignments. I used the book sparingly. Make sure you take down all her notes. And you have to study for the test, or else you will not do well. You need to go to class in order to get the notes.

Dr. Astor-Stetson is 1 of the best teachers to take General Psychology with! Her tests are all the same and are easy as long as you go to all the study sessions...You should go to class but its a lecture so it doesn't matter..Great class overall

Easiest class I ever took! All you need to do to pass the tests are to study the vocabulary in the textbook. You need to take notes though because those are what she goes by for the final. There are tons of extra credit options available so it's hard not to get an A. The material is very easy and understandable. She's an easy teacher!
