Dr. Pogal was an easy A, all you have to do is show up to class with the homework completed and translated for review. Test come straight from the Study guides almost exactly the same. The final is easy to get exempt from, and by her methods of practice in class, she helps students learn the language! A Great teacher highly recomended

Dr. Pogal is amazing. Her class is structured as listed in the syllabus. There will be 5-6 exams over the course of the semester (she gives study guides that are almost identical to the exams) and online homework is the other portion of your grade. You can also exempt from her final by having an A- or above in the course. StudyPass. Pretty simple.

Good teacher. You will have to actually learn some Spanish to get an A in her honors course. She gives a lot of homework that is time consuming, and she has a community service requirement in her class. Also, be ye warned that she speaks in Spanish throughout the ENTIRE class. I wouldn't recommend this honors course to non-majors (or lazy people).

When you take your foreign language placement test and score 250 or higher, you will be put in an advanced spanish class with Dr. Pogal. Be warned that she speaks entirely in Spanish once class begins. 303 is conversation, so there is no textbook. You're graded on your speaking, so if you're not comfortable and confident with that, do not take her.

YOUR GUARANTEED AN A- as long as you do the lab and extra credit. You also have to do somewhat well on the test though. Also with an A- you get to exempt the final.

Overall a good professor. Had her for 251, 252, Conversation, and 309. She usually requires you to do a little community service but it's not bad at all. Classes are straightforward. There's absolutely no side conversations in class, she'll call you out on it. Pay attention, do the work and you'll be good. I never got less than an A in her class.

Dra. Pogal is EXCELLENT! This lit class is her most interesting class, and her expertise is impressive. She tells you exactly what needs to be done in the syllabus. Her class is discussion-based, and she expects you to read. Most people don't, though. She gives one paper, a midterm, and a final. The rest is participation. Best Spanish class!

Great Professor! Got an A in here 251 class and an A+ in here 252 class. She will call you out if you don't know something but at the end of the day you will learn something new. Do NOT miss more than 3 classes and do your service hours. Get on here good side and you'll be fine.

The class easy. Her guidelines are outlined in her syllabus so read it. She even explains it in class. but its PURE SPANISH. if you have a hard time understanding Spanish, you might wanna practice but she's clear for the most part. And she GIVES you the test. If you just study the material do the work she assigns and SHOW UP for class youll be fine

Just extremely easy. She gives a practice test before every test, and even on the test she gives models for every section. Two good years of high school Spanish is enough to have an A+ in this class. She does give busy work, but you don't have to really do it. The hardest thing is understanding her because she speaks in Spanish the whole time.

If you have taken Spanish for a few years this is a super easy class. She basically gives you almost the exact test for practice a day before. Lots of busy work though and extra credit. Easy to make an A.

DonĂ‚´t let Spanish Conversation fool you...this class seems really simple..Dr. Pogal tells students to just come in and "talk"..but its a lot harder than you think..she grades on EVERY word you say when you enter the classroom including grammar and pronounciation...and youre right above..she doesnt teach..she just grades
