Sweet old lady, like bake me cookies sweet, but definitely not the best as a teacher. She did not know what to answer when asked about the material and went over the same thing for three classes. I guess it's an easy A but i actually wanted to learn, so I dropped the class. I'd rather not waste my time, it was really really boring.

Comment:

It is true Harrison is hard of hearing, however, if you sit up front and bring her a cookie she will love you. She has you write two papers which can easily be fabricated and you'll receive full points. She goes over the exam prior to test day and gives you all the answers. The book is really not necessary. Shows movies on some lecture days.

You cant hear her, and she cant hear you. I asked 4 questions through the first 2 weeks and she didnt know the answer. She is a very nice elderly lady...but she is way past her prime

Such a sweet old lady. I like her but it's hard to hear her from the back. She does ask you if she is speaking low, you could tell her nicely to speak up. Bless her heart. It gets boring at times, but she is trying. You watch videos about almost every week, which kind goes with what you are learning. Her test is multiple choice. Study the guide.

Man Oh Man, this has got to be one of the most boring classes i have ever taken. if you want an easy A then take this class. However be prepared to be bored to death. bring a laptop. she talks so softly that her works are barely audible. but she is a very sweet lady.

sweet grandma lady. talks low so sit in front if u really want to listen. fairly easy tells u what u need to do to get a good grade. points for attendance, extra credit for perect attendance. she really cares so don't take advantage of her. not like u need to, fairly easy to get a good grade.. just take her. stress free class.

This class is a GPA booster. Easy A+. All you do is sit in class and listen to her lecture on the Japanese Tea Ceremony. She shows a video after each lecture. Just leave class as soon as she does this. Nothing from the videos is on the test.

She was like a sweet old grandma and reminded me of Mrs. Garret from the Facts of life. She does speak very softly, even in the third row it was sometimes hard to hear her. Her lectures can be boring, and the videos ARE boring. She focused too much I felt on the major 5 religions, not enough to smaller ones. If you want an easy class, this is it, but to actually learn a lot about the subject, I'd say try a different professor.

easy going instructor. so sweet and nice lady. if you listen to her lectures closely-they are synchronized with the book. so pay close attention to her and all you have to do is review most of her lecture notes and you'd do alright. her exams are easy, but her films are out dated so sit tight.

Very, very nice. Also teaches interesting subjects that everyone should be exposed to. The only problem is that she speaks very softly and if you like sitting in the back, you probably won't hear her.

her tests are okay. she has 4 exams with 50 questions each. you do have to read in order to pass the tests. her lectures are extremely BORING! she gives 10 extra credit pts. for perfect att. and 10 for presentation of the research paper.
