Comment:

Clear and concise class except the tests. These tests require a deeper knowledge of the material then one would expect considering the average student taking a 300 level class has a large workload already. Basically study harder then you think. She seems to have a slightly high ego, which is both bothersome and enjoyable to observe but I digress.

Comment:

Dr. Nawrot is definitely a professor to take classes from. She is very knowledgeable and it makes the lectures interesting/enjoyable. The assignments in her class are very easy points and there are three 100 point tests given that aren't the easiest but if you read, you will do fine on the tests. You don't really need to attend class to pass.

The class itself is structured very well. She does not give any tests and just expects you to turn in papers and participate in class. However, she does not allow absences, even excused ones. No matter what reason you have for missing class- family death, sudden illness or injury, hospitalization, there is no excuse for missing class.

I have taken several classes with her and I they are more discussion based than book based. If you pay attention and take part in class you will do fine. You do need to work for your grade though. Her tests are very reasonable and based a mostly on class lecture. She is very knowledgeable and knows her stuff.

Great lectures. Uses powerpoints, she does not offer them online but its very easy to copy notes off of. She also takes test questions from the online textbook quizzes available to you. I would recommend this teacher!

Haha...This is so funny. The first day in class I thought,"Karen from Will & Grace?" She was a great teacher and brought in stories that make the facts more memorable. Take notes and don't read the book...no problem.
