She provides no feedback and does not explain herself very well. She is the worst professor I've ever had.

Comment:
She focuses on what she wants to focus on. More sexual harassment etc., less business torts. This is the only area that I had to really (re)learn for the bar exam. She didn't teach major areas, at least not in the usual way. I agree with the poster below that she should not be teaching first-year students who have no idea - due to her biases.

Not always up-front, although I wouldn't go so far as to say she is passive-aggressive. She has marinated in feminist thought for too long.

She doesn't understand that feminism is a political opinion, not the unblemished truth. Because of that, she should not be teaching a required class (torts) that is forced on students.

Liz Reilly is an extremely intelligent and moral woman. She knows a lot about the law, and basketball. However, she takes a relatively simple subject and flummoxes it with unnecessary detail and obscure cases. I am sad to say I learned more about torts in the bar review than in her class. A smart lady, a good person, Mother Superior of Torts.

I disagree that she tests more than she teaches. She is one of the professors who makes it completely unnecessary to resort to horn books or anything else. I'm a male and don't think she's at all "down" on males in the class.

She is an OK professor - sometimes she goes into a lot of extra detail - but OK - her exams are very hard but she is fair - where she really misses out is that she leads you into a false sense of security during the class . She teaches less than she tests - read the restatement of torts to do well - she tests more than she teaches - only complaint

Feminist - also taught "Feminist Perspectives on the Law" - she sometimes uses the class as a platform for her political ideas. Good if you're a woman, I guess. Somewhat confused about business issues & torts. Don't get on her wrong side.
