Moves fast, but he knows his stuff. If you get confused, better go to his office if you don't want to be the butt of his jokes. But its all in good fun. Sit down with him and he'll do everything he can to help. Plus he's hilarious. Take all of his classes.

Was horrible at getting back to me on time for homework help. Put questions on tests that were way beyond the concepts and theories we went over in class and on the homework. Short tempered. Overall, did not like him.

One of the least helpful, least understanding professors I have ever encountered. Moves too quickly, gets frustrated when you try to ask questions. Too picky about homework. Doesn't let you finish final exam. Tells awful jokes. He's a real piece of work.

My least favorite professor thus far. so unhelpful, moves so quickly, and condescending. he gets mad when you ask questions and thinks just because he understands something, you should know just as much as he has. just not a very good person.

Really boring/frustrating prof. Mostly, bad jokes and stories about his cats. (you can earn extra credit for remembering his cats' hilarious antics and nicknames!) Overall the class was unhelpful and oddly depressing. Would not recommend for anyone, regardless.

Obsessive about details, unwilling to help, impatient, and snippy toward students who dare to ask questions during lecture. Awesome prof. Really interesting class. I can see why people say his tests are hard, but I didn't have a problem with them. Study and pay attention in class. He likes cats just a bit more than is particularly healthy and makes the occasional bad joke, but that doesn't really hurt his teaching.

I think he's great. He tries to make things fun, even if their not, I love cats just as much as he does, and I think his tests are fair. I also love hands on, in class activity stuff, like brining in visual illusion stuff.

Wacky but content-filled, Professor H's classes are always interesting. His personality flows through the class, making it entertaining as well as educational (insert promo here). Basically, his classes are great--take as many as possible! But be warned, while fun, they are not Mickey Mouse.

My fav SMC prof, crazily detailed tests, but the feeling you get doing well is well worth it. Makes fun of students that he knows well and can handle what they dish back. Makes bad jokes on purpose, and laughs harder then students, willing to help struggling students and very approachable.
