Comment:

Dr. Campbell is one of the most caring profs I've ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable and prepared for lectures. Grading is fair and she makes the concepts accessible to all levels of understanding. I gained a much higher appreciation for what we learned in class and although lectures were long and sometimes dry, the class was interesting!

Comment:

Very passionate, keeps you engaged. Marking is tough but fair, provides solid feedback. Definitely reasonable workload for third-year class, and plenty of time spent on research skills. Easy to approach, answers questions, takes students seriously. Most test material comes from lecture notes; if you miss, make sure to get notes from someone else .

Consider yourself lucky to have her as a prof- especially if you are an Art History major. I guess I wouldn't suggest taking her class if you want an easy 'A', but she's so knowledgeable. Very understanding teacher, as well. Love her.

Lectures long and somewhat dry. I was very interested in the subject and the texts and reading assignments excellent, but some written assignments felt like busywork. Very hard marker so easy to get discouraged (even if you are a very good student) by results on tests and papers. Would avoid this prof in future.

Erin is simply the best. She is kind & understanding, she makes her classes fun and is always available to help. I've taken several classes with her and enjoyed them all. She easily gives out extensions and understands that students have lives. Don't take advantage of her kindness!

She really wants you to do well in her class, and she makes it very easy too! The tests are never a surprise. We could even bring a cheat sheet into the final! The lectures tend to be a little slow and repeatative, but they are very easy to follow.

Extremely knowledgeable and professional teacher. Gives excellent engaging lectures. Her course is only difficult if you don't take the time to prepare, otherwise she pretty much spells out how you can get a very good mark. Very accommodating and helpful. She will increase anyone's interest in art history.

Great Prof. You should attend the classes to fully understand the images, as much as the slides are up she goes into great detail in class that you will otherwise miss. Very approachable and easy to understand!

One of the best profs I have had. Exceptional prof and fantastic person. Very helpful. Won the department's teacher of the year award in 2010 and gave he winnings to a student who could not afford to go to school. The class is challenging, entertaining but not 'easy'

Well she ain't easy, that's for sure. You can learn a lot from Dr. Campbell, but she really marks hard, and MAKES you go to class by deducting marks for absences. She likes group work too, which I hated. Dreaded the class, but she did make me a better writer. Puts people on the spot a lot.

GREAT prof, really gives you the opportunity to succeed. encourages you to write a v.good paper, and your mark will show for it, if you become passionate about it. the BEST prof i have ever had, and her courses have helped me in every other course (writing skills, prep for tests etc.) enjoyable lecture too. i will take every class she offers.

Hands down one of the best profs I have ever had. She was more then willing to help on essays, tells you exactly what she wants. And you can take your notes in with you to the test, she lets you do well if you make the effort.
