-I am presently in his class and I'm not sure what he's talking about half the time. The class is liberation and struggle and we are being taught religion and philosophy. We have to listen to his view about whether God is real. What does that have do with anything?? I'm so disappointed. I have to deal with this man for another two months. Sucks!

He says what most of us are already thinking,so he appeals to most of us. However, he isn't "the Truth." As a left leaning ideological student, I still take his lectures with a grain of salt. He's not open to opposing views because to him it's a "science." But know that no science claims to be 100% accurate, in all science there is doubt.

He's awesome!! He is a bit unorganized, and stumbles back and forth BUT he's always willing to help if you ask. This class is not just about slavery, but teaches you about the real world. Great class! You have: 1 final exam paper, and 1 midterm. Don't really need to get the book.

Prof Green is the absolute best. Hes an outstanding professor who opens your eyes and mind to what is actually going on in today's society, truly a teaching gem. He peaked my interest in African American studies so much that I took him for 3 classes after first taking him. Truly an outstanding professor.

Truly an amazing and inspirationnal teacher. He along with Professor Cumberbatch are the reason I'm minoring in African American studies. Without a doubt one of the best professors I've had the priveledge to take thusfar. He opens your eyes to ideas that are not taught much and makes you think in a variety of ways. A++ Professor

Class-Black Urban Experience...One of the best prfsr. I've had if not the...as far as opening your eyes to socitey....Historical Materialism...learn it...he is the man, myth, and legend..he is always 5 min late for my 9:25am class, but he can do that, he has a PHD...Did I mention he is the man for and of the people.

The worst teacher I've ever had or even seen. He says the EXACT same things everyday, yet somehow he can never remember what he taught at the last class! Truly, it's weird how quickly he forgets things. He yells at students if they "notice" that he's trying to teach Marx's ideas as his own. Also chronically late.

Great Professor! Very repetitive, which helps you understand and grasp the material. Even though this was an easy "A" this course was the most valuable in my undergraduate studies.
