Has a tough skin at times. FA can be hard to please. But he is brilliant and witty, and will never bore you. Although his class was the hardest, it was my favorite so far at Westminster. You will learn so much. The work is difficult but worth it in the end. If you do the work well, he will adore you and root for you the rest of your time at WCC.

He's taught for so long that he knows all the tricks, so if you're one of those students who likes to pull bs on a teacher he's the wrong one haha. I honestly enjoyed the class, though not all of his beliefs were though I believed in he evoked educated discussion amongst the students which I appreciated and grew a lot from.

He's the sort of teacher you both love and fear. He's not one to mess with, but he is also refreshingly aware of a lot of the bs you might experience with some teachers. His lectures will really get you raring to teach and create change. Grading is pretty fair among students (and that's coming from someone with a B!). Late work will kill your grade

All of the "haters" on here simply are not to fit to be music teachers, which isn't as easy as waving your hands in front of a chorus and talking about Mozart all day. Being an educator requires you to think for yourself and know what you're doing. If you can't deal with a tough professor, you can't deal with 100 rowdy kids and administration.

One of the best teachers. You have to earn his respect. I know some of his female "favorites". Must be a grown up to be in his class. CP is his thing and it works for him. Its an idea you cant mess with in practice for college teaching its perfect. Cares for his students. Uses logic to his advantage. He Built the WCC name for ed!

Generally chooses males over females, has a lot of favorites, uses his name and the WCC name to his advantage, and generally isn't very clear with his directions. Is TOO CP oriented in his teaching-should show a little more examples for what he wants. Needs to teach what he preaches.

He makes it seem like he knows his stuff but needs to practice what he preaches. Also picks favorites like no other... generally males over females, and doesn't make his points clear in class. Uses the Westminster Choir College name to his benefit. WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD!!!

like any college for future teachers, the methods and philosophies used are the ones used and you can't change an entire school. WCC might not be for every teacher, but it's worked for me and he's been a great teacher. The reason he's so tough is because he wants to weed out the people who don't care. But he genuinely cares if you care.

I came in loving teaching and music...I left and changed my major. He drained me of all my love for teaching music, and he was a dreadful advisor and mentor. He needs to give up already...he's no longer an effective professor.
