Professor Marsh, is an extremely helpful teacher. He is very fair, and he understands the difficulties that students undergo with the Standard English. There is no official exam or midterm. But there is a big paper about a language phenomenon, and a grammar test. He abhors texting! Participate, hand in assignments on time and do not side-chat.

This professor is really nice and cool. He has a sense of humor and knows how to make the class fun. The papers he has you do all lead up to your final paper. He picks topics that will be interesting to the student. Go to class! It is a big part of the grade. Recommended!

Professor Marsh is a very cool guy, and you will learn a lot from him. I would take his class, although he is so annoying when it comes to cellphones. Not only does he not want to hear it, he dont want to see it either. You cannot leave the room at any time even if its to go to the bathroom. You will pass the writing compass exam though.
