Dr "Captain" Morgan does 2 things well: 1) explains concepts in everyday word problems (ie. why airlines have oversold your flight for Spring Break) and 2) has the patience and perseverence to keep explaininbg a concept thru examples until you comprehend not just the answer but the process to get there. IMHO a pretty good standard for teaching!

Great professor. Very nice and makes it easy to understand statistics. I never liked math and was never very good at it but he made me want to actually do the homework. As long as you do the homework and go to class regularly your golden. Take him if possible.

Great teacher! Basically come to class with the 3 homeowrk problems he asigns and you will do fine. He keeps class very interesting and almost calls on everyone in the class each day even if its just to agree with him. He makes math fun and easy to learn.

He's a nice guy, but his exams are very hard and takes off a lot of points for something minor, even if you attend class everyday. Gives a quiz every Wednesday, so wouldnt recommend missing too many classes. Teaches the concepts pretty easily, but goes off on tangets about stupid stuff. Take someone else if possible.

Great guy. Very funny and great at explaining some difficult stuff. The homework is not that hard if you pay attention and take good notes. The tests are tricky but not to bad, I got B's on them and I'm horrible at math. He is very friendly with the students and is enjoyable.

this was his first time teaching this course, i think. dr morgan is very talented in math skills, but when straight out of the book with things he liked. very funny and social, but piles on ungraded hw. participate in his class, laugh at his jokes/talk to him. he'll help you out. just pay attention to what he says

very funny..made me laugh every class!! however, if u don't like doing a lot of work i would not suggest taking him. toward the end of the course he really piles it on. you have weekly quizes & he doesn't give you many breaks. make sure u go..he is a good prof but it's hard to stay motivated in his class!!

First DON'T BUY THE BOOK! Even though he tells you to, do not....you never need it. He's super easy but doesn't really explain a lot. Just show up, answer 1 question each class, and laugh at his jokes and you're fine. Statistics is cake anyway.

Let me first say that I hate math with a passion. So what do I do? I become an Accounting major... but anyway, this guy was great! He made class so much fun. He was a nice guy with plenty of stuff to talk about. I had him for 2 hours in the summer and I didn't get bored once. Oh and it gets better, he gave us a take home final!

Very hard class. He makes tests harder than what you expect. Fast paced, but boring. Don't take him unless you are very talented at math. He wont help you out unless you are there every class and actively participate. Nice guy but he makes the tests way too hard.
