Basically a self study class. Work is all online; the lectures are no help as he'll take the entire class to go over literally only two problems. No point in actually showing up, because all the extra credit he gives out doesnt matter so long as you get an A on the midterm, final, and do some of the HW. Hes nice, but you wont learn.

Dont take his class unless you enjoy learning by yourself. Also, if you are in your last semester at your college or you need a final official transcript urgently, do not take his class!!! Because he grading veryslow............. But easy A.

He's going to bend over backwards to make sure that you pass his class. (By this I mean he will be extremely flexible with tests and schedules for homework.) However, this is essentially an independent study class. If you cannot teach yourself then you will not make it. Otherwise, it's the easiest A you'll ever get. You don't have to come to class.

I don't know why people hate him. He gives a lot of homework but it was all really easy. He uses a program that teaches you how to do each and every problem. Do those right and the midterm and final will be easy. Lectures are boring but overall he's a great teacher even if he's late to class a lot.

2/2 resort. We have 3 weeks until the final and he's only covered 2 chapters out of 7. 3 chapters to be generous. This is because he comes to class late by 15-20 minutes and has cancelled a couple classes because of illness. This class has a max of 40 students but looking in the room right now there are only 18 people here. This guy needs to retire

1/1This is an old professor who is experiencing the effects of being old. He is quite forgetful, as he often starts teaching 14B even though he's in 14A. Class lectures are slow, extremely hard to follow, and don't benefit you at all. He takes about 20 minutes to do one problem and usually gets the answer wrong in the end. Take this class as a last

Most classes we spent half the time waiting for him to figure out how to log onto mymathlab. The other half of the time he'd go over HW problems at a snails pace. (literally 1 prob per hr) & gets them wrong. He often gets mixed up while teaching and you basically learn everything yourself but all our tests were online. Easy A but horrible teacher

I took him for BUS 14A and BUS 14B. Took 14A during Spring and that class was so easy but just a lot of homework. As long as you do the homework and study the material, it is not hard at all. When I took him for 14B during summer, there was just too many homework! 14B was a lot tougher for me and this is a self-learn class.

Goes off topic a lot, most of class time is spent is story telling, you'll cover 2 problems at most in one class. Test and homework takes hours to complete. Very unorganized he even lost one of our tests and had the class retake it. Be prepared to self teach about 90% of the material. The final is worth 50% of your grade.

Are you able to self teach finite math/calc by yourself? If not, this class isn't for you. Lusk is not very punctual. Literally everything about this class is self taught. The only useful things he shows us how to use is the TI calculator. A lot of homework, tests can be very long/tedious (Last test was (79 questions). 4 exams, final worth 50%....

Expects you to know everything yet he can't solve his own problems he tries to explain to the class. He comes late to class almost every day. Final is worth 50% of your grade. There's no point in coming to class, you don't learn anything. It's all self study. Not recommended.

Genuinely nice guy, however, that's about it. He knows the material well but his lectures are all over the place and he is not very organized. Whole class time is spent on perhaps two problems alone and lots of stories that do not pertain to the class. The class is essentially self-study. Wish there were more professors teaching Bus. 14A & B.

Lots of assignments but everything is online including tests. But final is ridiculously hard and it makes up half your grade. Nice teacher who is willing to help but lectures were too unclear to the point where coming to class felt useless. I missed pretty much half the semester. All self study

To be fair, Lusk is a very nice person, but a terrible teacher. Lecture was unclear and unorganized. Heavy online hws. Final made up almost 50% of the grade. Not recommended unless you already know the material or you can self-learning. Wish i took Maloney's class.

This professor cannot teach at all. He spends the entire class time doing two problems on the board and that's it. Don't expect to learn much in this class because you won't. He gives out tests on material that he didn't even go over yet. Worst class I've ever taken. Highly NOT recommended.
