Comment:

This was a lecture class with PPTs. There is a lot of tech reading and he breaks things down in English. Read the books to pass the tests, not everything is in the PPT. There are only tests and a final project for this class. Bring your final project drafts to him before the due date for feedback & you'll do well on it.

Comment:

I have had Grandpa for like 4 courses. Here is the truth: I like him personally even though his humor is at times borderline offensive(actually offensive not being a snowflake). It frustrates me that he doesn't give more effort. During tests, he literally gives people answers. He just lectures and doesn't use real world Applications to teach.

Comment:

Grandpa Korea's lectures are boring. No, you won't be configuring networks or touching a server; it's a full lecture class. Thanks B! You'll sit there listening to him speak Spanish and calling fiber optic cables "sexy". The only time you WANT to be in class is for a review where he gives test answers, the rest is just reading a PowerPoint.

Comment:

Even with information heavy lectures, Grandpa definitely delivers well detailed lectures with light humor. He really does know his stuff. Try and come for exam review day because he accurately lays out what will be on exams. Powerpoints always available online for further study material, and the book is most likely not required.

Easy, unbelievably easy. Classwork done via Testout, and 3 in class tests. He reviews for each test the week before and tells you what to expect on them. I cannot get over how easy this class was. Do the classwork at home and show up for attendance then leave. Best INF professor at Bergen. The only way you fail is if you ignore testout.

Not much else can be said about Grandpa, he is one of the best at BCC. Dude knows his stuff, lecture can be boring at times. Like most of his classes, 4 tests and a paper due on the last day. Gives excellent reviews the week before each test so you know EXACTLY what will be on them. Zone out all days but review days and you will pass with an A.

Solid professor. Knows his stuff in and out. Easy class overall. Will definitely take him any chance I get, and you should too. He does make the typical old man bad jokes. Class can be a snoozefest at times if you already know the material. Don't bother with the textbook, teaches off Powerpoint and makes them available. Does thorough test reviews.

Prof Correa is by far the best professor i have encountered at BCC. He knows the subject material extremely well and breaks it down in a manner even the most airheaded of us will understand. ive taken him in his "all lecture " network class and his "all lab" active directory class. They both were great classes

Course objectives are very clear and thoroughly explains every section before moving on. My only recommendation before moving onto this course is, make sure you have a solid foundation of TCP/IP.

Taught both Network+ & Security+, his classes are a bore. If its a class he teaches from powerpoint (both were) skip the class & show up on test days. He'll teach the powerpoint word for word and allow you to download them ahead of time. If asked for clarification he'll repeat what he just said with no further explanation. Otherwise, very easy.

Great professor. His classes are really easy and the effort level/amount of work due for him is almost abysmal. Tests are pretty much a joke and half of the questions have the answer in them already. Really no need to attend class as long as you make it to his reviews you'll so exception on his tests.

Highly recommended. Genuine professor who wants you to succeed. I find his lectures interesting. He is very good at explaining all ideas and concepts before moving on. He is the Best!

Prof Correa definitely has a weird sense of humor but I'd rather take his classes rather than some other Prof's with sticks up their a$$e$. He tries to make learning IT fun. Took him for 3 or 4 different INF classes and got A's and B's. He's probably the best INF Prof at Bergen in my opinion.

He has an interesting personality and is no more boring than any other teacher. His test are pretty average difficulty-wise. He's a very fair grader. My only complaint with the man is that asking questions seems to put him out of his comfort zone; he rarely answers the question asked, and tends to embarrass people.
