Comment:

She tries to keep her lectures interesting and fun. She is so funny and wants her students to pass. She drops the lowest test, lab, and quiz grades. I would definitely want to take her again and recommend her to others.

Comment:

She is the sweetest person and cares so much about everyone as an individual and how their Spanish skills are improving. She often makes jokes in class and is easy to relate too. She gives a lot of online homework but you have 2 weeks to do it, and the best part is you can keep re-doing it until you get a 100. I absolutely love her. Such an angel.

She was a really sweet lady, but just didn't know how to teach in an interesting way. The class was SUPER easy, as long as you have the textbook. There's a lab hour once a week where she gives you time to do all of the homework. I skipped class often and still got an A.

Comment:

V well organized, efficient and structured based on expensive course book. Learns everyone's name fast and gets everyone talking in class from the start. Lots of short homework exercises, short quizzes, in-class exams. Some classes mandatory for grades. Wont be your new best friend but if you show up you will learn and pass. Tech friendly.

Professor Mazzuca is great. She is funny and understanding. I did have a decent amount of homework from her, but it is online and she gives you a week to do it. You will probably get 1-3 things to do per week. Nothing crazy. Her test are very straight forward and she goes over the test before hand. You just need to attend class to do well.

Everything a professor should be; engaging, entertaining, and passionate about her subject. Prof Mazzuca will encourage you to learn, assuming you're willing to do the work. Don't take her if you want an easy A. Her office hours are great and she truly cares about her students.

If you show up you'll do fine. I took Spanish in high school, but never wanted to get out of bed. I missed a couple of labs and "mimi-quizzes" so it brought my grade down. Do the homework and go to class and you should be fine.

Loved this teacher, she's funny and helpful. Very sweet, willing to work with you. Her tests are pretty straight forward, but she gives a lot of mini quizzes and she does them right at the beginning of class and once she gives them out even if you show up she won't let you take it. She drops a decent amount of low grades. Lots of online work.

Great Teacher over all, however I wouldn't take her class again because she has weekly quizzes. There is a surprise quiz every week. Beware if you take her class 3 times a week, never know what day she will give it out. Being onetime is a must and you don't ever want to skip, your grads will suffer! & she doesn't give opportunities for extra credit

This was the worst class I have ever taken. It was suppose to be instructor taught, but this professor did nothing but grade the homework and tests. She changed the rules midway through the course more then once. You get 40 minutes to answer a 60 question test and this includes a 45 word essay. Each question has up to 10 sub questions.

At first I thought the class was going to be easy, but honestly Profesora Mazzuca did not really teach. She made the textbook do all of the work. After taking this class I can say that I can read some Spanish but definitely not speak it. I cant pronounce anything and I wish she had elborated on that. Shes a very nice lady though

Comment:

She is one of the best professors at DCC for language. All you have to do is pay attention and it is impossible to fail her class. She goes over what is on the test before hand and right before you take it. If you ask questions about the test she'll all but give you the exact answers. As long as you dont sit there texting all the time you'll pass.
