Basically have around 5 speeches throughout the semester, 3 are within groups and the last 2 are solo. Purposely gives B's and B+'s because he wants students to ask him to redo it later on before the semester ends. I regret not redoing a speech I got a B+ on because that ended up being my overall grade, even though I got A's on everything else.

rambles and gets off topic a lot. quizes are really long but end up not counting towards your grade. entire grade is made up of 4 group presentations that can be redone as many times as needed to improve original score.

If you want to catch up on some sleep take this class. I haven't learned anything and his grading is ridiculous. He tells you how to do something and when you do it that way, he tells you that you're wrong. He constantly stutters, even though he teaches speech. The topics he makes you speak about are sooo boring. Good luck.

I have mixed feelings on the professor-could have been better, could have been worse. However, if you want to avoid the Public Speaking course, Communication in Society is a worthy and overlooked alternative. There's a lot of group projects, the individual speeches are short in length, and he grades much easier than the public speaking professors.

He would talk about inappropriate subject matter in the classroom. He make disgusting comments towards female students, about the sex appeal of their attire. I found the class to be too easy to learn anything.
