He is a horrible teacher. When I am in his class I feel like I am sitting in that of a middle school classroom- everyone is just out of control for we are not learning a thing. I agree he is a nice guy, but nice doesn't help me understand math. People literally have walked out of his classroom due to frustration. Avoid if you can.

This will sound harsh, but I'm being entirely honest. The act of Mr. Cote collecting a check from any institution of learning is borderline fraud. He knows his field. He does not know anything about teaching; zero teaching skill. I received an A- in his trig class, it should have been a D. If you actually want to learn math, go elsewhere.

Quite fair on homework, but plays favorites (luckily, I am a favorite). Goes over a lot of problems, gives partial, sometimes extra credit. Not good with student questions. You'll be fine if you do your homework, though.
