Definitely would not recommend this teacher. He is horrible his study guides don't help and he doesn't keep up with the class. Doesn't update you on your grades and takes forever to respond.

The absolute worst professor I have had at Santa Fe. The course I took was the AMH 2020 Hybrid class. His classroom lectures were useless and dull, and his online reading was long and dull. He was quite rude when I had to email him, and didn't respond for weeks. Not a good guy, take someone else!

Dr. Price is a nice enough guy. He is disorganized though and that's frustrating. The real problem with his class are his current event quizzes. Those are basically a guessing game as what he's going to ask you from that week's news. It's really frustrating. I got an "A" in his class... but I wouldn't take another class with him again.

worst teacher ever to take online extremely hard and confusing gives no direction for test and ask random questions that are not even in the book test does not relate to what u read there r no quizzes just test and 2 papers with no direction he was ill for the summer and did not respond well and does not post grades would have graduated this summer

Incredibly difficult class. He quizzes you on things that you have never went over, and is very rude if you ever email him or talk to him after class. Price is one of the angriest professors I've had through the course of my education. Horrible teacher and simply impossible class. Avoid it if you can.

I ended up dropping his class, I completely detest this professor, DO NOT TAKE HIS ONLINE CLASS. He is very unclear, never posts anything on the calender, and never replies to emails. Dr.Price was the only professor that actually made me really hate school.

This teacher is horrible. I took his class online. He neglected to grade our papers and return them in a timely manner. It took him to entire semester to grade our first writing assignment. He also makes you do disscussion post which if you are short one word he wont count it. It is complete BS!

Horrible class. This is the only class I've felt like I was going to fail. Neglegent of his online class and vague with emails. material is overwelming and tests are seriously impossible. never got above a 72% on any of them. ugh terrible

Although I enjoyed his class because I love history, his essay tests were very hard and almost impossible to get an 'A' on. He is gone occasionally because of medical reasons, but it never affected the quality of the class. His lectures and discussions were very interesting. Take him if you're okay with getting a 'B' and enjoy history.

Dave Price is the man. He seems intimidating but once you show you care about the subject and you are capable of thought, he loosens up. Learned a lot just by going to his office and chatting.

The worst teacher I have encoutered in my life. So he's smart, that does his students no good if he can't be a good teacher. Does not return graded papers for over a month. Awful teacher. Taking this class Summer 08, he NEVER responds to emails. You never know your grades. He doesn't keep a calender so you must try to browse through his posts he usually forgets to post to find when soemthing is due. Test format on Angel is horrible, won't let you ratake a test if Angel fails. Good luck

This is my second class with Professor Price, and I think I'll miss having him in a class. He lectures mostly off Power Point presentations, and rarely tests on anything outside of them or the readings. Readings are few, I've not used the textbook much the whole class.

he is a nice guy and attempts to be helpful. testing is not great. tests are only 20 questions, which isn't enough to judge what a person learned.
