Comment:
Good Professor, but gives boring lectures. He knows so much CS that the way he explains confuses students. Wants you to assume what exactly he wants for the programs. Lectures are pointless to go to because he puts up videos of the class. Quizzes were hard for the amount of time he gave. BB quiz were sometimes easy if you studied from recitation.

Nice guy but I found him to be very unorganized and hard to follow during class. He has a slow pace and doesn't cover all the info needed for the programs. Pretty helpful outside of class and was nice enough to extend the due dates on multiple assignments. Labs were helpful but the bb quizzes were vaguely worded and unnecessarily difficult.

Bergeron made his program assignments extremely difficult. Every other student in my lab section was failing the blackboard quizzes.

Very helpful professor and considerate of students. A big procrastinator and likes to joke about it. Is down to earth as a person but a cut above the rest in terms of academic knowledge and prowess.

A nice guy and a decent teacher. He is almost always in his office to help. He expects a lot out of you, so he can be very vague when answering questions he thinks you should know. Makes many grading mistakes, so always check with him when an unexpected grade is received! I was about 10 points below my actual grade at one point.

Very time consuming course, but it is necessary for the topic. Dr. Bergeron is in charge of lectures while TAs take care of labs and recitations.

Not really fair to grade him on this class as it was pretty much a class on giving Presentations and he didn't do much, but he is a really good teacher. Very open-minded.

If you can take Dan's Object Oriented Methodology class, do it. This class may save your life. It definately saved mine. It should be a requirement. The department is doing a dis-service to society by not requiring it.
