Mozur's only downfall is that he does not use blackboard. His teaching style is old school, you read from your book and do paper assignments and tests/quizzes. You MUST read to understand the material and really pay attention when he lectures or you'll be lost by midterms time. He is funny and easy to reach outside of class if you need help!

I was skeptical about the class at first and of him when he walked in, but after getting to know him and be in his class, he's great! Super funny, very into the subject, always enthusiastic. He really challenged me with the material and I learned a lot. Takes his time to really get to know the students. I highly recommend his class!

I actually enjoyed this class. His teaching style is very involved so you must pay attention so you can answer his questions. Overall, the class was very well structured and interesting. Another perk was that he was funny, so it made the class more entertaining. I highly recommend taking Mozur for a philosophy class!

While sometimes I was not in the mood for his corny jokes, he did a pretty good job of teaching the material. Logic and reasoning just has some hard concepts to grasp. He gave a lot of homework but it was always relevant to what we were learning and helped when he went over it in class.

Professor Mozur was one of the best professors I have had at Lewis and Clark. I didn't show up for the first day of class because I was in the hospital, and he called my home phone number to personally let me know what we did in class, as well as check in on how I was feeling. Also he gives a good amount of homework to actually teachyou thematerial

Dr. Mozur's class was interesting. We only had writing assignments and tests, not too difficult. When you write your papers, even if you do not agree with what he wants you to write, write what he wants to hear, that's the only way you'll get a good grade on them. I got by without reading every chapter, just pay attention in class & skim the book.
