Many negative comments have been already deleted by someone. For those who got an A, the only thing I want to say is: Students who can get an A are randomly chosen by her every semester so that they can leave positive comments here. The rest of you who are not chosen would get NP forever. Trust me, her rating was ONLY 2 last year, and 1.8 on 2013.

She is a really nice and warm lady. She is not that tough as other people say. Instead, she likes her job and always teaches her students in a very profound way. I feel so great to have her as my EAD professor. Because of her, I can easily get into basic comp and expos. Love her so much.

She controlled the class badly and forced us to read 20 pages at one night. She graded harsh. She cared about hilarious things one day she revoked the chat room on sakai and nobody knows why, then she was angry in the class and said we don't care about it. She wants you go to her office hour but she always makes you wait. Her comments are useless

I will never take her class again. This professor really doesn't know how to convey her knowledge to her students. All comments she made on your papers are meaningless and helpless but she just keeps saying "Yeah you did a great job good thesis good analyses " then you will still receive an NP on each paper.

She is an amazing professor, but you have to work for it. A lot of homework and reading, but she encourage you to work for perfection. At the end of the semester you are able to read, under stand and speak Spanish. I truly love this teacher. I never had a professor that cared for her students. She gave me a B+, but I grade her an A +.

Definitely not easy compared to other professor teaching this class, but you will learn a lot if you really put A LOT effort into it. She's pretty harsh on grades. We don't have an A for the whole class. I would recommend this prof to those who have extra time and really want to improve writing skills.

This professor is unbearable,she will give a homework and forget about it the next day in class,had no control of the class plan.For example,we had a syllabus quiz in our 4th week of class,give us tons of work and due day extension because SHE DID NOT FINISH GRADING THEM. Above all she will give F to EVERYBODY.Don't take her class if you value GPA!

I had Prof Navarro for 101 and 102 she requires you to work and the text is necessary but her tests are direct she tells you what is on each and allows you to bring a helper sheet, she is very intelligent and knows her stuff, work is necessary for her class though and attendance is mandatory. She takes her job very seriously but is a great teacher

This professor really sucked. She always made us repeat phrases in english. I felt like I was in kindergarten. She barely spoke to us in spanish. I learned absolutely nothing in her class.She's lenient w/ accepting late assignments but if you actually want to learn something I suggest you get a diff professor
