Gerlinde is an awesome teacher! She hands out all the information at the beginning of class, so you know exactly what you're doing that day. She let me teach myself everything, and was extremely willing to help when I asked. She always responds to email quickly. Loved her, and I hope I will see her around Cabrillo.

Gerline is a good teacher. She is very approachable and is there to help you in and out of class. She always responds to her email even during vacation. We need more teachers like her.

Comment:

Very passionate, easy to understand, loves to help out, knowledgeable, and organized. The only thing I didn't care too much for are her Cisco lectures; I was bored to tears due to her following the curriculum slides to a tee without adding any interaction. This sort of technical/bland subject requires interaction to keep you awake.

Gerlinde is a very nice person, but as a teacher i find her instruction to be limp and uninspired. She paraphrases course material that i'd rather read to myself, and adds none of her own knowledge unless you specifically ask for it. It's like trying to teach yourself TCP/IP by reading a textbook, only it costs money, and has a schedule.
