Comment:

Dr. Hudson requires you to do your best and he WILL bring it out. He's tough but really cares how you do. If you ask for help he will be there. And he will test your will to keep at it, and remind you that thats the hardest part. I would take another class from Dr. Hudson anytime if he were available. Also - do not be late to class! His one rule.

He is the advisor for many of the engineering majors at Columbia State. Even if you don't work the hardest, if you stick around, he will drag the engineer out of you. I respect him very much and would recommend anyone hoping to get a good handle on engineering to take him.

You will work your tail off in his classes, but if you do the work and come to him when you need help, you'll make it. He'll give you some problems that can't be solved in the alloted time, but if you seriously try on them you'll get credit and his respect.Pay attention because he asks questions in class. He gets vocal and excited to motivate you.

He is a very good teacher. I thought he was going to be super hard but really as long as you do you homework and labs you will be just fine. Take him in the summer that is when i did and it was much easier than a noraml 15 week semester

Comment:

Very smart but very little social skills. Expects u to know things he hasn't taught. Will scream at u if u ask him to repeat something he says. Acts very helpful and friendly about helping students but when u ask for help he gets mad that u don't understand and says u don't pay attention in class. If u aren't good at math and science DO NOT take this teacher! Worst experience in a class I've ever had!

I had him for Trig and we did work on MathXL. I thought the test was hard, but later found out it came from the hmwrk from each chapter that wasn't assign to us, so I did ALL of them and made an A in there. It was alot of work since I never really like trig but I did my best and made an A. He' s very willing to help and he's a great teacher!

Mr. Hudson was a great math teacher. I never understood math until i had him. Now I understand it better. He uses real world examples during every class to help you understand things better. He does not give grades away but if you work for them he will help you out. And make sure you do the extra credit. it will help you out alot.

Dr. Hudson was a wonderful teacher. Sometimes he wasn't clear but if you asked he would explain further. He lets you use notes on your test, gives extra credit problems (DO THESE!) and he drops your lowest grade if you have 0 absences. He gives a lot of homework but does a review before every test. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Hudson is a great guy. He uses MathXL and it can be frustrating. I wish Columbia State would drop the whole MathXL thing. He gives Extra Credit problems and allows you to use your notes on the Tests. I would recommend taking him over other teachers there.(Williford) He a good teacher

CSCC is lucky to have Dr. Hudson. Even with basic math courses he does his best to teach to every student. He was always willing to help after class too. He doesn't give grades away, but he will give you partial credit if you show your work. He's an awesome guy, I look forward to taking more classes from him.

I had Dr. Hudson at another school and owe all of my success in undergrad and grad school to his teaching. Sure he is a difficult teacher but most people will find his real world applications of physics and math are priceless once you get in the workforce. Great teaching ethics and very respectable instructor. you won't regret having this professor

Absolutely, the most intelligent and interesting individual I have ever met. Absolutely, the most demanding class that I have ever had, et I have learned more about life and it?s challenges from Dr. Hudson than from any other setting. If you want to learn ,take any of his classes. If you want to ?skate by? with no challenge, find someone else.
