Prof is very awesome. She has a funny sense of humor and always willing to help. She's very easy going and I have never seen her angry or inconsistent. The final was optional, but the tests could be rather difficult if you do not study properly. I did fairly well though. She is always available in her office and does extra hours when tests are near

Comment:

A very difficult class, especially if yu have zero interest in accounting. She missed class for two weeks and just rushed through the material so it could be tested. Even though she rushed there was no curve on the final as she said there would be, not even for the fact she missed so much class and rushed. Study in advance and ask questions.

Take her for ACC 340! It's by no means an easy class but she is a great professor and person. She tends to cover things a little too quickly in class, but her course packet and class materials help a lot. I learned a ton! She's very nice and willing to help. The tests are long and can be difficult. The multiple choice is brutal. Know the material.

She was an amazing teacher and has a true passion for Accounting... me not so much. She made everything really clear and gave tons of practice worksheets during class. Her tests are pretty much the same as the worksheets and workbook problems. Take her if you care about your GPA!

MacCracken is an AWESOME teacher! She really wants you to succeed in her class. If you are having trouble with the material,just ask her for help and she will be more than willing to help you. Attendance is mandatory and the material is hard but she teaches this class very well. Also,take good notes in the blue book.

She is a great teacher. She goes out of her way to help you understand the material. The class is hard but if you put forth the effort you'll do fine. Not much use of the textbook basically just used the class notes book. She gives partial credit on tests if you at least try to work out problems.

Excellent and involved professor. Always available via email and liberal office hours. Always starts classes with real-world current Accounting applications. Hug the blue book often, because you'll need a good relationship with it. Reading text helps understand the material and DO NOT MISS CLASS - Her xcredit opportunities are rare and spontaneous.

She's tough, and there is a ton of material in this class, but if she sees you making an effort she will help you out. Great when it comes to questions and office hours. Attendance not mandatory from my memory, but I strongly recommend getting perfect attendance.

Overall, she is an okay professor. She is a very nice person and always willing to help. However, I found her lectures boring and sometimes confusing. You definitely should rely on the books for the tests. Her study guides are very broad so I studied a lot. If you study and know the material, the tests will not be too bad.

VERY HARD CLASS. take good notes in blue book, and study weeks in advance for tests. not very helpful and makes several mistakes and has to go back. tutor center is very helpful. tests are very hard and she gives you a broad study guide which half of stuff on it isn't on test. definitely would not recommend her to someone else

Great professor. Accounting in itself is very hard but she makes a great effort to help you understand. Do all of the Solid Footing and read the chapters and you will do well. HW=easy A (not much either). Do NOT take this class if you feel you will slack off because it is very hard to catch up with all of the material right before finals/midterms.

Prof MacCracken makes this hard subject more tolerable. Her personal bluebook helps A LOT as do her in class examples. You have to study a lot to do well, a lot of practicing. I never use the textbook, just practice her bluebook. She's the best ACC340 prof by far.

3 exams, 1 case study, 3rd exam cumulative. MAYBE 1 XC opp. Take your exams seriously,drill the problems,GET THE BLUE BK,&form a study group. I'd recommend not taking her @7:30am; she makes a LOT of mistakes to the detriment of her students; but 9am onward classes she's great. Go to office hours! Good teacher, but you work hard for your grade!

This class was brutal but she did an excellent job trying to explain everything. Her exams are very difficult (mult choice section) but I'm sure if I would have read the book they could have been easier. Attendance isn't mandatory but you will not do well if you don't show up - the bluebook saved me

MacCracken is a great teacher. She supplements the accounting book with her own "blue book" which is a bare bones essential version. It's important to famaliarize yourself with it, as well as complete exercises and attend class. At ASU you only have 2 choices for accounting 230 professors, this is the one you want, no contest.

ACC 340 is a very hard accounting course, and only Muller and MacCracken teach it. Muller is almost impossible, and with MacCracken I somehow managed an A. Very good teacher, and has a blue book workbook that test problems come out of. If you study hard you can do well but you do have to work hard for it. Her study guide is fairly useful. Good luck
