Go to class he takes attendance. Read the book to pass on your own time. He rants so I just listened to music the whole class. In the end he lost one of my papers and gave me a C for it so that was annoying.

He goes on long tangents and it's hard to follow how he's relating it to the class. He is open-minded on projects and gentle with critiques. Overall, he's a nice guy who loves art, but not the best teacher for beginners. For those of you in entry level courses and in need of learning art basics (techniques, etc), take another professor.

If you really need an A, then take this class, but heres some reasons you will hate yourself for doing so. He takes attendance every day, but his lectures are irrelevant and dont help you prepare for the test. Honestly if you have this class, bring a laptop, play some games, bring a pillow, whatever. Just prepare to ignore his entire class.

Art----NOPE. Politics---YES. Rambles. Very biased in his lectures, although he pretends to be open-minded. :) You may want to bring a pillow to class. 10 slides could take 2 class days to cover. Tests are detail oriented, but extremely easy to pass , if not ace. Gets off topic far too often. Art appreciation? More like religion is FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Super easy class/teacher. He gives take home open book tests, and extra points if you go to art exhibitions that he reminds you about. Just do not be disrespectful to him as he will snap. You can sleep and/or do other work in class and STILL pass.

Gives take home test. He lets you go to some art shows for extra credit. If you go to the art studio they give out free alchohol there. Deginitely worth it!! He was very passionate about art. Definitely worth taking the class.

Tests were difficult but he gave a take home and test and a final and dropped the lowest of four test grades to help our grade. You can get as many extra credit points as you want for going to art shows so it is easy to get an A

Teacher extremely easy. He shows a great deal of passion about the world according to art. However, if you have a weak stomach for profanity reconsider this instructor. Came close to reporting his fowl mouth.

Greg is a great teacher for the open minded.. Hes quite eccentric, but one of the few professors who love what they do ( Which is important to me, at least) I highly reccomend checking out his Art Studio Inc.

The class is very easy. He gives the questions to the test the day before and you have to look them up in the book. Essay format but easy. He is a 60's peace hippy so if you don't like that, don't take him. he likes to go on tangents about everything.
