When you thought It wouldn't get any worse than Stats... Fin 350 with Check is the absolute worst! He doesn't teach us what we are doing and why, he just goes over homework. He grades hard, and you can't ask a question in class because he makes you feel like you're retarded. Big prick!!!

Henry Check Jr.....lets just say he's a lot like gollum. Seems like a nice guy, but really a sarcastic, sneaky, tricky, prick. Tests are based off of homework, except their twisted just to turn him on. Avoid taking hardball henry (refers to himself as) and his red pen, unless u want a headache.

This guy does not teach. He expects you to come to class having read and understood the chapter and done the homework so that all he has to do is review the homework on the board. You may as well just buy the book and learn from that without taking the class. He's a real jerk to students as well(you'll see what I mean if you stay a few classes).

He has a "matter-of-fact" attitude that NO educator should have. He is an academic that has been in a school atmosphere way too long. Take him if you wish to be insulted when you ask a question that's not "smart".

The final project was stupid. It covered 5% of what we learned the whole semester. I'm sure wityy Mr. Check could have thought of something a little better to give us. His style in this class is inconsistent with what Check does in all his other classes. That may or may not be a good thing.

Possibly the worst professor ever. His tests were awful and were not meant to be given to beginner accounting students. He was not funny and very much a ****, he made the class awful, and right before I walked in I had thoughts of hanging myself. On top of it yells at you for yawning in class.

I think his sarcasam is great...it makes the class more interesting. Professor Check teaches with clarity and explains things clearly and to the point. Tests are fair and the homework is explained in detail. I came into the class with no interest in accounting and ended up actually liking it.

it was all downhill from day one. His sarcasm and lack of character made me want to drive my car into a telephone pole. It was just a complete waste of time. I mean, yeah, I will admit I slacked off, but he was unhelpful at all. There were like 6 people in my class that failed. Bad Teaching.

Henry is a cool guy he definitly sounds like Mr. Feeney but the way he sets up the course is very easy. He takes attendance but I think that is extra credit, 4 exams and 20% is homework. Your allowed to use an 8x10 piece of paper for every test so my advice is copy the chapter review problems
