Holly Carey is an awesome teacher. I took her for both Comp credits, and i would do it again in a heart beat. She is strict with class rules, i.e.. no cell phones, no disrespecting other students, but down to earth when you need her advice. Show up prepared with a little enthusiasm and you will do fine.

LOVE HER.. She is very easy and she works with you when you need help...she stopped showing up to class before december so all we had due was a final and that was it. do not get the texts just borrow it occasionally from someone you won't need it.

Ms. Carey is a nice professor, but inattentive to the class. I took the online class and I wish I hadn't. She takes forever to return grades. She usually drops the lowest weekly assignment grade. Very particular about what she wants and you can't deviate from that. I wouldn't take this class again, but if you are good with english, go ahead.

I absolutely LOVED Mrs.Carey but I hated english. Writting papers is something that I hate doing but she was very helpful in the process of doing so. She was very clear at what she wanted and is always willing to help when needed. I suggest all entering freshman take her, but she doesn't entertain foolery. GREAT TEACHER

I have made A's in all of my english classes until now. I really did not understand what she wanted from me in the class. I saw my grade drop and tried even harder to bring it back up, but it didnt help. Maybe taking her actual class, instead of online, is easier.

Attendance=Mandatory. 2 essays, research paper, exam and final. Grades ok. Does play favorites. She's a strictler about phones, if it rings vibs anything she will kick u out. Shes unorganized. She's late and absent more often than other professors and she will hand grades back to students at seperate times. It might take 2wks to get your paper back

Nice woman. Took her in summer. Extremely easy A. Im sure her fall/spring classes are just as crazy simple. You will turn in a paper that she will grade with leniency and then give it back to you so you can revise and correct it for a better grade. Oh yea its easy too.
