Comment:

One of my favorite professors thus far, I will soon graduate with a bachelors in political science and his teachings have influenced me for the better. This is truly a professor who cares about you and your future, there are not many like this.

Professor Housen is my favorite professor. 2 years in college, and have never had such a great professor. His lectures are amazing, he is very passionate about sociology, and he is great at what he does. There is no reason as to why you should not take his class. He is the best, You will not want to miss his lectures!!

Dr Howard Housen is the most brilliant, confident, and awesome professor I have had so far. His passion for Sociology is just amazing, and his class is very entertaining. Therefore, you will look forward to attend every class. Study his power points, and take notes and you will do excellent in his class. I was very, very sad when this class ended.

Professor Housen is the best professor at BC. From the 1st moment of class on day 1, his passion for sociology, and fantastic use of voice will capture your attention. He motivates us to learn and ask questions, we are constantly debating and discussing. didnt touch the text book because his workbook and notes were enough! Already missing his class

Pay attention in class. The lecture notes are very helpful, the workbook helps, and read the book (just what was discussed in class). If he explains something not in the lecture notes, look it up. You will be engaged, have deep debates, and be taught some useful life lessons. Please study, it's mostly memorization and examples go a long way.

He is one of my favorite professors for sure and he clearly wants everyone to learn and succeed. There is plenty of tests and quizzes but if you study then they will be a breeze. While also being fairly easy to succeed, you actually truly learn stuff in this class. I highly recommend this professor, I say take him while you can.

Best professor in BC! Semi-easy A. His lectures are literally amazing! He makes class fun and everything he teaches you pertains to real life situations with CLEAR examples. You do 4 tests & 4 quizzes. The test are semi hard but the quizzes are easy. STUDY THE LECTURE NOTES FOR AN A+! Also, do his extra credit book while he lectures, easy points.

BY FAR THE BEST PROFESSOR I'VE EVER HAD AT BROWARD COLLEGE! All you have to do to ace the class is show up and pay attention. It's not hard, his lectures are very engaging and I've never left class without laughing at least once. If every professor taught like him the world would be a better place. TAKE HIM!!!

Professor Housen is one of the best professors I have encountered. I wish more professors taught like him. I took this course before and got a D with a different professor and I really didn't grasp the subject but Professor Housen's lecture approach is phenomenal and I now love the subject. I would recommend taking his class.

I didn't know what to expect the first day in his class but he definitely surprised me. He knows his stuff for sure. He explains everything with crystal clear examples. Very interesting and always keeps your attention. Best professor Ive ever had on campus!!! I wish he taught every subject because I would definitely take his class again!!!

Amazing teacher. I recommend his class to everyone. Lectures are interactive so be ready to voice your thoughts but his examples really help you learn the material. Tests and quizzes are pretty easy as well. barely used the textbook, his lecture notes are basically all you need if you pay attention in class. Also gives extra credit for workbook.

Best teacher at BC! I didn't know sociology was so interesting and you won't want to miss any lectures.Print ppts before class and take notes. Tests are easy just study the notes, do the assignments and you'll be fine.There's a big essay at the end that's time consuming but it's about yourself. I wish there were other classes I could take with him!

He is the greatest of all time. Professor Housen, takes the art of lecturing to another level. If you miss a class, he will allow you to attend another. all you have to do is ask... He wants his students to succeed in life and in his class. Do not miss is lectures and Print out your power points it will appear on test. Critical thinking at it best.
