Comment:

Professor is very clear about grading guidelines and course material. This is one the most difficult courses for undergraduate math courses and Ian is very good at making students work to understand the material at a very deep level.

Very clear on grading, course material. Ian is very intense and will make you work to understand the material. Seems like he makes the class a competition against classsmates to pass. Which ill note doesn't feel as a bad thing.

Prof Aberbach is a really nice guy, but there is just no way to make Calc 3 interesting at all to students. The weekly quizes every Friday really put a damper on the Thirsty Thursdays.

Prof. Aberbach is awesome. His grading is really good. he tries his best to give u as many points as possible, it makes u feel like he's on your side. he takes his time to explain the topics and make them really crystal clear. u actually learn something. one downside though: his lectures can get boring.

He's a pretty good teacher, but if you care about keeping up a high gpa don't take his class. He makes the quizzes harder than all the other professors and takes a lot of points for minor mistakes.
