She's a good teacher, but you probably won't do well if you're not interested in the subject matter yourself. Definitely do the assigned readings she assigned - I didn't and paid for it.

Ozler can have a hard exterior, however she is very passionate and very well informed about all that she teaches. I have taken many classes with her and she can be a difficult grader, however if you show effort and improvement, she will be more than fair. Ozler is very personable outside the classroom and is very willing to help. READ!

She's unclear about what she wants out of your work. She had so many students to see during office hours and I didn't get the quality help that I needed. I worked extremely hard on my thesis and did not get the grade I believe I deserved. I don't recommend her for senior seminar.

Professor Ozler is extremely well informed. There are a lot of dense readings from academic journals, but she is excellent at helping the class get through them. A fine lecturer and a warm, charismatic personality.

I love her. Lectures are avg, easy grader. The most interesting part about her is that she argues with officials and UN reps right there in front of the class. Does not take sh!t and is very dedicated to her interests. Speaks her mind and opinion, which is rare in our dept. Yet so necessary. She's just a cool young lady. Want to take her again

She's extremely smart! Sometimes she couldn't explain things people who know nothing about a topic would understand. Notes are a must! I found the readings and material covered difficult to understand being a freshman and having no prior knowledge to most stuff. Take her class if you don't mind straight lecture and putting in some effort.

Very good teacher, engaging and fun. Tests are easy if u dont study, she gives u a review sheet with all the quetions on it. Sometimes she jumps around during lectures and can be a little confusing, so note taking is very important, but there's only 2 tests + final and one paper, and she reviews well for all tests. Classes go by very quickly.

Comment:

Ozler has to be the most laid back of the PS/IR professors, but she still has plenty of knowledge to crush you with. She's very helpful and accommodating, and the work load isn't all that bad. She's also friggin hilarious at times, just wait for her to tell you stories of the old country. I look forward to more classes w/ her in the future.

I love her! She tries her hardest to get her students interested in her lectures and she's also very knowledgeable. She has a good sense of humor and it's really funny when she makes corny jokes and laughs at herself. Her tests aren't terrible, she gives really good review sheets. I think this class would be a lot worse if I didn't have her.

I like her. She tries her best to make class interesting and get everyone involved.She seems to know what she's talking about but can get jumbled easily.She's always available during office hours and willing to go the extra mile to help you out.I would definately recommend her.

Professor Ozler is new at teaching, so she needs help. She does not know all of the answers to the questions students ask. She really does not know any of the answers. She reads off of a paper and if the answer is not there then she does not know it. Need a better qualified teacher. Work on it!
