Professor Wilson is a really nice guy, his lectures are really hard to stay awake through though. He is an easy marker and he is clear in what he wants to see in your papers, but gives students a lot of leeway as well. Tests are also a really good measure of student learning. He shows interesting films and allows for discussion in class. Great guy!

Class didn't really turn out to be what I expected but it wasn't bad. He's a really nice guy.. I found his lectures to be kind of dull though. Watched a couple movies.. wrote 2 book reports. Overall it was okay. Easy marks.

Course was not entirely what I expected going in. Some lectures and readings were interesting, some were quite dull. Course has a couple of consistent themes that are discussed, almost to the point of tedium. Grading was very fair, reflecting effort level. Prof is passionate about the subject matter, and I think I would enjoy his film course more.

Wonderful class, wonderful prof. I enjoyed this class so much that I talked about it to friends every week afterwards. He is a very intelligent man who values everyone's opinion. He is thorough and clear. It is very easy to learn from him. I recommend this course to any student in need of an arts credit.
