Do not take. That about sums his class up. Doesn't answer the question he is asked. Heavy work load for a "basic" stat class. Changed requirement for scans and flash drives but made us do two video projects and put questions about them on the exam. Required to watch. Projects took forever and had to be viewed in the lab. Take anyone else.

He is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to the work load. He wants you to do the work, then scan it and give it to him on a flash drive as well... Doesn't answer any of your questions,doesn't respond to e-amils but sends a ton of them that you have to keep uo with, and ultimately does not feel he is responsible for teaching the material...AVOID

I think most misunderstand Jack. He's very smart and teaches for a hobby. He's there if need him. Do your work, attend class and ask questions. There is always tutoring if you need it.

bad prof but not impossible he thnks he is funny but he's not u dont really use the textbook that much maybe a little at the beginning and he always eats while hes teaching.u dont have 2 go 2 class but i would recommend it...he teaches really slow n goes off on tangents one time we spent a 1 hr on one question it was a waste of time its an ok class

this class is ungodly boring,he repeats himself and uses pointless references to real world situations. Take notes, look at example problems in text. he's jerk about grading: 80% of your grade is based on exams (2 and 1 final worth 40%). He curves all exams and allows note card during exams. He doesn't understand how to answer questions. BAD PROF!

Teaching style was alright, homeworks are a bit long and drawn out. Tests are only a few questions and have A. - L. possibilities for answers which is a bit much. If you stick it out and take some time to talk about problems with him one on one its an alright class though.

Required HW is mind-numbing. Text only used for ripping pages out. Guy looks like a D.M. without a cape. He has a passion for Stat and hates that he's been placed in a lab enviroment.

Well.. the class started out ok and the hw was easy but then came the tests. There are normally only 10-15 multiple choice questions, but they are ridiculous. Each question has between 8-10 possible answers. The worst part is there is no partial credit and all work must be done with a cheap single function calculator. I dont recomend this class.

The lectures are taught practially but the homework is from the text. So, test can be confusing since you've praticed everything from the text book language. Grading is not so good. Only two exams then a final and very little problems for each exam.

Homework load not so bad. However, what ultimately determines your grade is the tests (2 plus final). I seriously believe that he pulls his exams out of thin air. The material seems foreign and baffling regardless if you've studied or not. Not recommended!

What is everyone talking about?! We took a field trip to go bowling for no reason. Very fun and enthusiastic teacher. Average amount of homework assigned.. not overwhelming. Good Teacher

Horrible teacher! He uses slides which are straight from the book, never actually works out problems in class, 3 tests, cumlative final,all tests are multiple choice but each questions has about 10 possible answers, no credit given for any work shown! Ridiculously pointless assignments! Avoid him unles you want to fail!

This guy is a joke...teaches straight from slides for a MATH CLASS.Did not complete one problem in the entire semester by hand.Always shows up about 10 minutes late and keeps you the whole time.Hates when questions are asked during class.His assignments are ridiculous and doesnt spread them out.He uses the worst grading scale I've seen.DON'T TAKE!!
