Showing up for class, you never really know what to expect. There are some days when you leave class with more questions than you had to begin with. I really do appreciate his enthusiasm and spirit when he teaches but his strategy is so unorganized. I used to love writing, hell... I used to UNDERSTAND it. He makes it way harder than it needs to be.

Thinking of taking this class? You might as well just take an online class because an online teacher will be more available than him. Like wasting time and learning about non related things? Then this is the class for you! Office hours are extremely limited and they hardly ever line up with students free hours. NEVER take from this professor.

Nice relaxing class if you enjoy writing. Brings you less stress then Comp 1. Compton is fun and really helpful and a good teacher. I enjoyed the class a lot. Don't skip class.

Amazing teacher and a tremendous help. Class discussions can get a bit off topic but his challenges are rewarding! I learned a lot and felt as if my strengths were being met while my weaknesses were being worked as well.

He seems to be good teacher, but when he comes to help students he only follow the rules in syllabus. If a student had family emergency or had a personal problem that cause the student to miss quiz or exam he wont allow u take it. My whole point is he forgets that people make rules and people have social problem. he pretend to be nice but he is not

Professor Compton is awesome! He taught this great class on the nature of evil, and I could really relate to the subject matter! Sometimes the classroom smelled funny, though.
