Comment:
One of my favorite professors at UCONN. I took both Criminology and Revolutionary Social Movements. I can't believe all of these whiners complaining here about how hard his classes are. Lazy!! These aren't gut courses. If you attend the classes, take good notes, and study for the exams, you will do well. But that's kind of a given in life isn't it?

had him for criminology and revolutionary movements. he does wear the same thing every day and his tests are hard as hell. however, his classes are extremely interesting if you are into the subject matter. DO NOT MISS CLASS!!

Tests are hard, must do all of the reading and keep up with the work. If you're really interested in criminology he is very knowledgable.

Notice how the negative comments here complain about too much work and style of dress. DeFronzo's lectures would only be boring to people who don't think about the world. DeFronzo is brilliant, helpful, and, yes, demanding.

The exams in this class are impossible- he loves to include all of the above and none of the above on every question which gets very mind numbing after awhile. He literally wears the same outfit to every class and stuffs his back pockets. DROP HIS CLASS

Very dull class, teacher is extremely self-absorbed and should pay attention to the huge wallet in his back pocket which absorbs more of the classes' attention than the lecture material. I would have enjoyed this class if he been more focused.

This class, while interesting, was EXTREMELY HARD, the tests are provided on blurry old ditto paper, with the fuzzy typewriter print and all! It is a tight fit, a long night in the night class, and tests are pretty much pull it out of your butt
