Dr. Braun is a highly educated and intelligent person. Her classes are difficult but wonderfully so. I learned so much while discovering my own ability to think beyond the walls of the classroom. I HIGHLY recommend you take one of her classes.

I'm an FUS grad, and currently I work as a high school literature and history teacher in Arizona. I do not exaggerate when I say that her Literary Criticism class changed my perspective on education and the importance of learning. Do not be fooled by the low ratings, those students were looking for easy As. She doesn't give out many of them.

Startlingly intelligent, pleasant, etc etc. Braun knows her stuff, but she's always willing to listen to a student's interpretation of a work. She's also pretty cute, and has a ridiculously charming accent, which doesn't hurt anything.

I found her to be extremely close minded, controlling, and out rightly rude. This disappointed me, as I was told by others that she was good. Although her organization of group discussion was excellent, she limited the scope and deadened my ambition. I think creativity is not encouraged as much as conformity. She's also v. arrogant.

Dr. Braun's Studies in Fiction class was fantastic. Being a nursing major, I hated the idea of having to study this because I am so science-oriented; I ended up LOVING it and wanting to go to night class. It was the class I learned the most from outside of my nursing program. Absolutely fantastic!
