Organic chemistry is a tough class but Professor Lindberg makes it that much more tolerable. I feel he has faith in every student - if you ask him for help, he is always open and will sit with you until you understand the material. I will miss having this man on campus.

Great Prof. Helps every student understand. Hilarious subtle wit. Clearly a badass. If you have a problem with him, then no prof could convey organic to you.

Great professor! I had him for 221 and am currently in 222 with him. The material is very difficult, but he will always help if you ask. Extremely nice and understanding.

He's a very kind professor, and sometimes it seems that he doesn't hold students to a Grinnell standard. However, he appreciates critical thinking, and if you take time to go beyond memorizing mechanisms and principles, he is a great guide. Instead of giving tests, he gives biweekly quizes, which keeps you on your toes.

Never had him for class, but he's really tough in lab. If your lab notebook and lab assignments aren't works of art, you might want to take lab with Mobley or Sieck.

He is a cute old man who knows a terrifying amount of Chemistry. I don't know about his lectures, but in lab he was always helpful if sometimes overwhelmed by the number of people asking questions.

O. Chem is the stuff of legends for a reason: IT'S HARD! But, attend lectures and dedicate lots of time to readings (6hrs per chp)& non-mandatory problem sets and you'll succeed. Dr. Lindberg possesses an unrivaled ability to explain the material in a straightforward and understandable way. He is exceedingly patient and loves what he is doing.

He is one of the nicest professors I have ever had. The weekly quizzes helped keep me on track. If I ever had difficulty understanding something in lecture, he would always explain it more clearly during his office hours.

He was a difficult professor to have, when You had questions, he did not always answer them. I understood the material, but just had some questions, about particulars, and he would really not answer them. I thought that what he taught was really interesting, but not really good at explaining it.

Everyone else apparently took him last year, because this year he's not been as nice. I could never adjust to his way of doing things, and by the end i was wondering why i even bought the book. I don't like this man. Though he was always nice.

This is one of my favorite classes! I was really afraid to take ochem but I'm really glad that I did. The lectures are clear and helpful and having quizzes rather than tests makes learning the material much easier.

Perhaps the most enthusiastic professor. He will make you feel that whatever you are doing, (the question you asked or the work you have done) are worthwhile and interesting. His website is great too. Gotta check it out if you are taking Organic Chem.
