I do not know how she ever got a job to be a teacher at RWU. She is the most unprofessional and unforgiving professor I have ever taken and strongly suggest that you keep your distance. She does not care if you fail the class and will laugh at you instead of helping you if you are struggling in the class. STEER CLEAR!!!

Comment:

This teacher is by far the most unprofessional teacher i have ever expeienced in my 15 years of education. Its sad to say that professors like this exist. Instead of failing students who have made a valiant effort in all of their work a teacher should be educating and helpful. Sadly this tescher is unhelpful and not understanding towards students.

The goal in college is to learn and be taught by your professor. In this class you are expected to do way too much from someone who simply does not teach. She does not care if you fail, go the extra step to show that you really tried, or have any excuse on late papers. It is sad to see that students pay $250 to sit in each class with thisprofessor

She is an extremely difficult teacher that is nit picky and will take any chance she gets to lower your grade. It is terribly difficult to get a grade higher than a B- in her class. If you're good at sucking up to teachers and want a challenging class then take it. But we warned you!

She is very judgmental and grades very strictly. Follow the rubric because if you forget to add one or two minor pieces for the paper, such as underlining conjunctions she will fail your paper. She will not even grade you for your content only the minor critiques.

She's pretty self explanitory. Always open for you to talk to her before or after class. Grades the first couple papers pretty hard but after that if you keep on top of what she is teaching to you each class the grading will get better. Not an awful class, its managable

I think Ms. Harrison is a terrible teacher. She references the book the whole time like she doesn't know anything about the subject, and she is very grumpy. She doesn't seem to care about her students at all. Even if a relative dies or you're critically ill; she still expects you to be in class. She needs 2 get a more positive attitude to teaching

The course is relatively easy, but it really gets you to think. Emphasis is largely on writing memorandums directedc towards various audiences. Ms. Harrison, however, does not seem to be cut out to teach at all. She doesn't seem to care about anything that goes on in her student's lives. She's not the least bit personable. Horrible teacher.

PSYCHO! Criticizes over EVERY LITTLE THING. Its her way or no way. She has favorites and gives them As even if they don't deserve it. Worst writing teacher ever, she doesn't let you have your own style, it has to be all her way.

You do get assignment after assignment but what else are you going to do in a writing class. I didnt mind her. She lets us out early almost everyday which is a plus..
