She did not help me whenever I came to her. She just assumed that I should've known everything already. She yells at people that don't participate. This class, after a while, was just dreadful to go to because she did not make things clear at all.

I dislike professors who put so much emphasis on a 100 level class, I felt like it was a lot of work for a general course. I was definitely not a fan of the teaching style and it seemed she wasn't interested in teaching us either. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone that needs a CSC course

Professor young is a great professor and very picky. She wants things done her way She explains everything thoroughly. Although the class is hard for many I found it to be very easy. As long as you go to class, pay attention and do the assigned work you will get an A. I would take this class again

Young was not an easy A but she clearly cared for her students. Explains concepts over and over, reviews, and offers extra credit. Best professor for this course. Quite funny too. Show up, participate, and do her simple assignments.

literally the worst teacher at this school. i NEVER even took the time to "rate" a teacher but it is needed when it comes to her. DO NOT take her for CSC, esp if you have a demanding major and this class is useless for it.

I'm really not sure why so many people complain about professor Young. Yes, she is a stickler for her terms and wants you to do things her way, but all in all she is a really good professor. She goes over things over and over again and makes things as basic and clear as can be. If you are lazy this class isn't for you but its really not that hard!

Don't take her if you ask questions. She is degrading and will look down on you, then seconds later realize she was the one that is wrong. You can tell she doesn't love what she is doing. Gets annoyed very quickly if you get lost for a second or two.

The class is pretty difficult and demanding which is weird for a CSC class. She's kind of a hardass and makes me feel like i'm in kinder sometimes. Explains really well but tests are pretty hard. Boring lectures

She is very confusing with her questions but I'd still take her. Class is mandatory because she keeps track of attendance. You always use the book because that is where all the homework comes from. She also gives you extra credit opportunities so take them. Overall, the class is easy but Young is weird. Still take it.

she was an okay teacher. she surely does keep you entertained because she is very sarcastic and funny but she isnt the best teacher ive ever had. She isnt very clear with her questions but i feel like she gave a lot more work than any of my other friends csc classes

Best teacher I had at LaSalle. Everything she taught me I was able to apply in my Nursing major. She demands alot from her students but its the only way one can learn. I would take her again if I could.

she really isnt that bad. at first i heard mean things and was scared to take her. but ive learned alot from her class and she is so nice. pay attention and laugh with her from time to time. shes really cool once you get to know her. dont listen to the other comments. one of my fave teachers this semester

By far the worst class I have ever taken, not only at LaSalle, but in my life. This class should be a breeze but she makes the material much harder than it should be and nit picks until your grade lowers. She doesn't know how to use Office 2007 and admits it, which is TERRIBLE. She should not be allowed to teach until she gets a clue.

Prof Young is a good teacher and she is fair. Her test is a bit unclear as far as instructions when taking the computer test but she is more than willing to help if needed. Even though the class is not an easy A I would take her again.

Not a good teacher at all. Treats students like we are in middle school. Doesn't know what she is talking about and even admits it. We learned about office 07 and she said she doesnt know how to use most of it, even though she is suppose to teach us how to use it. avoid her!

ok, if you can't get an A in this class, you have never seen a computer before. It is highly likely that you will know more about computers than she does. This was by far my easiest class. If you do the homework and come to class, she will love you.

Her intro class is extremely detailed and she, though I'm sure a nice woman, can be kind of nasty when she gets annoyed (which I think is fairly easily). Try and get someone else if you can, but if you have to take her she's tolerable.
