Comment:

She doesn't take attendance but don't let that convince you to skip her classes. You can easily pass as long as you pay attention, take notes, don't skip, and do the assignments. She's really sweet and you can tell she genuinely wants her students to succeed. Wanted her for SOCI213 but she's not teaching it :/

Comment:

For someone who sucks at math and who has failed calculus, this class was a breeze. Her lectures are so clear and broke down that it makes the class so easy. She is super approachable and I highly recommend going to her office hours if you have any questions regarding assignments. Probably the best prof I have had thus far.

As someone who hasn't done stats since high school, Janice makes it easy for you to jump back in. I managed to score an average of 85% on my quizzes. She takes the time to explain things to you IF you do your part - which consists of showing up to class and at least trying to do your work before going to see her with q's.

She is the BEST teacher ever! She's very helpful and she's crystal clear while teaching. A little fast but she will repeat things for you. i would love to take another class with her. I didn't even buy the textbook, i just did her assignments every week and i got an A+.

What an amazing teacher. She goes above and beyond for her students. She is extremely knowledgeable and while she can sometimes go a bit fast, she takes the time to go over everything and she answers every question in detail. She makes a lot of time for office hours. Highly recommend! Thank-you Janice.

Great class, great teacher. You must attend classes, she does not take attendance but hands out small assignments at the end of some classes. She gives extra ones in case you missed a class. Very simple assignments, easy grader, wants you to succeed. Knows her stuff. I enjoyed the class, and she is a very understanding teacher, I suggest her!

I must say i have had many professors over the years but none as bad as this one, she covers material way to fast and also over complicates many simple things, she also made tons of errors when teaching us on her own calculations, she will call you out in class and doesnt hesitate to insult you take my advice DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!!!!!!!!

honestly she is the best teacher ive had here in concordia. she gives practice questions during class to do and practice exams that have the same outline as the exam. if you take notes and write down what she says then you are guaranteed an A. only thing is she doesnt make time for you. you have to make it to her office hours.attend her class!

I had never taken a stats class prior to this - Clarini's amazing!! Don't just write down what she writes on the board, also take down what she says! Pay attention to how answers are worded, not just the calculations. NEVER miss a class or you will be lost, GO SEE HER during her office hours - she is very nice and this will definitely help you.

This teacher is exactly what a teacher should be. She understands how intimidating stats can be at first and always considers that throughout the entire semester. She honestly is one of the best teachers I have ever had!! Cares about the students doing well...ignore any bad comments,I've had her for 2 classes and would take her again in a heartbeat

I really dont agree with the previous comment !! SHE IS THE MOST AMAZING AND HELPFUL TEACHER YOU CAN HAVE!!she really explains step by step ! what more do u want ? i had difficulty and still got an A+. she also so helpful during her office 4 assignment hours.Exams are easy she always gives u practice which will be very similar to what you will get.

Teacher knew the subj,but Made SEVERAL incorrect/corrections on classmates assignments & tests, don't dare ask for help in class as she will insult you! "Whats wrong with u people"is something she would often say if the class wasn't 'speeding' through as fast as she was. Very discouraging teacher, for those that struggle with math,dont do it.

Amazing teacher. Take her stats class ven if you suck at math. She explain material clearly, gives you practice quizes and assignments that are almost identical to final. All you have to do is show up to get an A. One of the best University teachers I've had!

She is such an awful person and teacher. She is strict and doesn't respect students. She can easily pick you up for any reason, and treats you like a scapegoat afterwards. And yes, she DOES treats students like a third grade. She treated me as such and I am an A student with 3.90 GPA

This teacher is ridiculous! She is super strict about not having cells in class, and will remind you as if we are in the third grade.Will also call out something she doesn't like about your behaviour (e.g using a laptop) during class in front of everyone.Told us that there was no point taking notes on a guest speaker.Very rude.I'm very unimpressed.
