Jeff's demos are fantastic and clear. He'll always be there to help you learn a new technique and develop your ideas. He's also really open-minded to how far you want to push your art, and there really aren't any limits. The whole class has a great community atmosphere.

Possibly from another planet and a nice guy as well. Fair, fun and scarry smart, take this class if you really want to learn about sculpture. Jeff is the neighbor with the cool garage projects that you always dreamed about and he brings great energy and personal talent to every class. You will enjoy every session and then miss his awesome lectures.

I went into this class thinking I'd hate it. I've never touched a lump of clay or used materials to build things. Jeff actually got me to enjoy sculpture, and helped show me that it's not just about the product, it's the process. Even if some of the stuff goes over your head, and even if you get frustrated, this class is still fun.

Jeff is on the the best teachers/professors I have ever had. I had DarthVader-Carr for another class and she made me HATE Scuplture. He guides you into the direction you need to go into. He is calm, understanding, and communicates very well. Take him and stay away from Rachel.

hes a good professor when it comes to helping you out, the reason he says youre not done when you think you are is most likely because youre not. art is about furthering your talent and he has helped me do that. being "strict" which i didnt think he was but either way he helped me a lot. good guy

Slomba has torque! Beyond his retoric, Slomba does have a sense of humor under there- hes passionate about sculpture and if you have enthusiasim, he will notice and appreciate it. Sometimes, he loses us though.
