He was my computer science mentor and my NET 1001 professor. Dr. O'Lander was the best at what he did. He suddenly passed away on September 20 much to everyone's surprise. He will be missed dearly. Rest in peace. :-(

i took him for geology and it was a really easy course. He tells u exactly whats gonna be on the tests so thats good. We watch youtubes most of the time. Dont really need the textbook as long as you take notes and listen in class. Hes an easy grader. I bs my essays and i still get good grades on them.

Decent professor, classes can be a little boring. Take notes and study a little before exams and you'll be set. Also, he likes the word "issue" and will say it at least a dozen times every class. Just thought you should know.

This is probably the best computer class I have taken. Orlander knows his stuff. His test are not that hard, the final is probably the hardest. HE does give lots of notes and more hW than before. But he still is a must take.
