This class will put you to work, and Dr. Green is no different. The material is tough, but he does a fairly good job relaying it. An 80% is considered an A, so you have a little bit of leeway. You feel really good when you're done, but that doesn't mean you should jump at the opportunity to take him. This class consumed my semester.

It's hard to put into words how much I got a sense he was there more for himself than his students. Writes his own textbook for problems, without solutions. Avoid.

This class isn't as horrible as everyone makes it out to be. Stats 221 will be hard and a lot of work, no matter who you take it with. I actually liked Green and he has a very dry sense of humor. His tests are hard, but an 80% is an A because of that. I ended up with a C and am retaking it with him because he is one of the better stats professors.

Green knows what he is teaching. Unlike a lot of these reviews, this class is fairly easy if you are good at math. It also helps if you go to the Learning Center and get a tutor. I went from a 43% F to a 84% A over the course of the semester. I recommend taking Green also because he lets you use notes and book on the tests.

Mr. Green is one of the smartest people I have ever met, but not exactly the best teacher. I really enjoyed his class and would take him again, but you have to put in a TON of work in this class to do well. He is a very tough/picky grader and takes a lot of points off for small mistakes.

Random HW collection for about 2 points each. Tests are worth around 40. He does really helpful review sessions for his open book/note tests. Doesn't expect the impossible out of you, but it's still no easy task. Do the homework and work to understand the work and you'll do fine. 80-100% is an A.

Probably the worst professor I've had at ball state. Tests are four questions, miss one or two.. you're done. The text book is old and not helpful. No powerpoints. Lectures are confusing. Randomly collects homework. Randomly gives pop quizzes.

Green really knows what he is teaching, but if you haven't already taken a statistics class like myself you probably wont do too well. I highly recommend getting a tutor because my grade went from a 33% to a 72% after the final which is a b on the curve they use for econ221. Other than that it is a pretty easily class.

Class is mostly based on 5 exams that are 4 questions each. Lectures can be long but he tries his best to make it funny. Random hw checks. He does a review session before every exam and gives out review sets w/ questions from previous exams, understand the review sets and they are just like the exams. Exams are open book, open note.

Mr. Green knows all the material to where he makes it so much harder for us to understand it because we are not as intelligent as him when it comes to econ. His test are very hard and does not have an exact grading scale. He grades the test how he feels and takes off way too many points. When you try to ask him what you did wrong, he is not helpful

This class is TOUGH! Green moves through material rather quickly! This topic is rough in general but flying through the material does not make it any better. Old professor, with a little bit of an attitude.

The class is tough, but Dr. Green made the material easy to understand. The first 5 tests are open book, open notes, and he gives you a review sheet that pretty much walks you through how to do the problems. If you do not get A's on the tests, you aren't trying.

Mr. Green knows what he is talking about. However, he is not good at conveying how to do it to students. If you do not understand the course material ahead of time, you will not learn it from him. Tests are four questions, he collects homework sporadically without notice, and there is no extra credit. I would strongly suggest a different professor.

Green isn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be. The overall subject is a difficult one, so it isn't really his fault that the class is difficult. An A is an 80%, which makes life so much easier. If I had to do it all over I would.

This class is super easy in the summer! Take it then. I tutor this class for the Learning Center, and trust me, all the professors other than Green are way more difficult. TAKE GREEN (PREFERABLY IN THE SUMMER). GO TO CLASS. ASK QUESTIONS. DO THE HOMEWORK.

Hardest class I have ever taken in college. The tests are 4 questions and if you don't study with previous tests you WILL fail. So find the connections. There is no mercy in his class so study hard. Highly suggest another professor. I probably could have earned a better grade elsewhere.
