Comment:

She's a very nice woman but a not a very good teacher. Homework was fairly reasonable but it counted for way too much of the grade. Tests were extremely hard and a lot harder than anything we had done previously. TA teaches the review/labs and you literally have to bank on the TA to know whats up. Wouldn't take again.

Homework has no relation to lecture and really hard to understand. Too many tests and have a test one week before final. She never show up in review class and labs and review class are not related to tests. She never lecture in order. For example,first week we were in 6.1, second week moved to 14.5 and then back to 6.3. She is the worst teacher.

Worst teacher I have ever had in all honesty. She doesn't teach the course well and then expects everything to be perfect on tests. If you make a grammar mistake answering word problems she will take multiple points off which is ridiculous. The average score on tests in the class has to be about 70%. DO NOT TAKE

I feel bad because Jennifer was a really nice lady, but an awful teacher. I went in once to ask her to explain something to me, and she did not answer one thing right. The material was not hard, but just not applicable to the real world. If you're going to take this class, do not do it with Jennifer.

Unwilling to help if you struggle. Fails to make a solid connection between the lessons and the homework. Notes are EXTREMELY vague and hard to make sense of, essentially useless. Lots of homework, and she's brutal on it. Enroll at your own risk.

Her class moves REALLY fast, so keep up with your homework or else you can expect to not get good grades or even fail. I didn't really like her class because she seemed so hard to approach about questions. I learned more from our TA in lab than from her in lecture.

She was not a very good professor when it came to teaching math. She was a really sweet old lady, but she wasn't good with explaining things. Tests were also weighted heavily. If you do poor on one or two tests, it tanks your grade. Expects you to understand everything. Doesn't focus on one thing for more than a day. Overall, pick another prof.

All those other comments are way off base. It's hard, yes (much harder than O-Chem, which I thought would be the death of me), but she is WONDERFUL. Always available to assist with homework and very fair in her grading. She actually let me come back several hours after class had ended so that I would be able to finish a test!

Hard prof to follow along with while she does examples. She often screws up and then we have to waste class time to figure out the error. Makes us do alot of proofs and never really told us how to structure a proof. I would avoid if you can!

ok this prof is NOT THAT BAD! if she is your only option do not freak out!! I'm sure there are much worse profs out there. For me personally I felt like she really did want us to succeed, and she will give extensions on papers if you give a good reason and ask kindly!! Her teaching methods need a little work but Its not the end of the world!

Very unclear with her lessons. Teaches proofs instead of how to complete the problems. Is not willing to work with students and rarely does helpful examples in class. I barely passed the class because I had no idea how to do the work once the tests came around. If you needed help she would send you to the Math Skills Center. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS.

She has no idea if the class knows what is going on or not. She relates everything to proofs and doesnt give enough examples. When you ask her questions in class sometimes she doesnt even answer them. She assigns writing assignments that are pointless and frustrating. Her tests arent horrible but she is a pretty tough grader. AVOID THIS PROF.
